Cozy and Warm
I have two senior cats (each are 19 yrs old) and they love it!! Ever since I purchased this bed this has been the only bed that the use. It’s plush, which I’m eases their weary bones and I know it keeps them warm because when I placed my hand underneath each of them if the, I felt that they were nice and warm. Such a great bed, especially for senior cats.

great option for my cats and dogs during cold winter. Traps and reflects heat. Cozy
As shown and described. Soft fluffy sherpa-like fleece on outside (helps trap heat), interior pad has reflective material (helps reflect heat), slim zipper, slightly grippy bottom. Basically takes the animals heat and helps maintain it by trapping heat and reflecting it back. If animal or environment is actually very cold, then this may not help. For that, you may want to add under it a low watt heated pad . I did this for my elderly cats. They had their favorite place to sleep, and always had both options available 24/7. Good size for any cat and smaller dogs, or larger dogs that dont need their entire body on it. I bought the larger 29" x 19" because I figured if I dont use it for my cats, then my southern rescue dog would appreciate it during the cold northern winters. I can put it on my lap or underneath me if no one liked it. But, My cats liked it just fine, they like it tucked into one of their existing beds. However, I also tried it for my dogs, and as anticipated, my 50 lb mega mutt loves it. I usually put a nice blanket down for her on the couch, similar in material as this is, but it has brought her extra pleasure and comfort to have this slim pad to curl up on whether the blanket it there or not. This isnt my first self warming pad. I have others I have used through the years, and wanted another as the others are in specific locations that the cats sometimes use. This one is different in the top material is fluffy, and more flexible than the other two I own . Both styles are good, this one is pricier than the other I linked to. I think if I bought more, it would be this one. I like the added softness and flexibility, where as the other is slightly more firm. Depends on needs and where it is placed. This is neat. I will feel the warmth after she leaves it. I feel it on the top side as well as the underside. It isnt hot or anything, but it really helps the animal to keep their heat. So no loss but no major gain either. I wouldnt use these necessarily for an outdoor animal on its own. Maybe a very low wattage heat pad, then this with it if it is really cold out. Animal needs to already have some heat of their own in order for this to make sense. They cant heat up the pad if they arent warm. If elements strip away the heat, then this may not help them. But for indoor use, especially cooler environments (we keep our house on cooler side in winter) this can help immensely to keep them comfy. Or for those that simply like warmer sleeping arrangements.

Great for your fur babies
Self-warming cat bed really is great for my baby cat. I would have bought a bigger size since he has longer body so he can only curve his body and be fitted inside. He really loves it, and it gives him comfort while on it. The price is good as well. The color is nice, size is good for smaller cats or dogs. Functionality wise is great as what it describes from the site. I will highly recommend it.

Cat loves it!
My cat loves this!! We bought it as a gift to celebrate the winter solstice, and she loves it! The outter fabric is perfect for her to make biscuits and hold heat. It's a bit smaller and thinner than we were expecting, but she still fits well. It warms up fast, doesn't get warm enough to cause concern of over heating (and have I mentioned my cat adores this?!) Super easy to set up (just pull out of the box and unwrap!) and came with clear, detailed instructions on washing and care. My cat has been using this daily and it holds up well, still looks and feels good (fabric is still soft & isn't torn up from her biscuit making, inner fabric still reflects heat wonderfully) I truly think this is an essential for any pet owner, especially if you live somewhere where it gets cold!

I was skeptical
I bought this because my senior cat was getting really insistent on wanting to constantly sit in my lap during the winter months. I figured it was because she wanted my body heat. I saw an ad on facebook for another brand of self heating bed that inspired me to do a search on amazon for a similar product. I found this and it is an absolute hit! It super soft, it looks good and my cat is obsessed with it. I can feel the warmth under her while shes on it and I even notice her walking a little better because she isnt stiff from the cold. We’ve only had it a few days so i cant speak to the durability or ease of cleaning, but im already considering purchasing another one for her other favorite spots in the house. She spends many cozy hours on this bed! I am pleased with this purchase!

Great Product
I ordered my senior grand furkitty this mat to take his many naps on daily. His Mama told me he loves it. I then decided to buy a 2nd one for his sister. They are well made, and I think important for them to snuggle on and keep warm. Especially for senior cats, I think they will use in all season even when the A/C weather comes. Very pleased with my purchases.

Perfect Pad
This pad worked out very well. I put it in an rubber bin I have outside for 3 young feral kittens. They all huddle together on top of it and keep cozy and warm especially in the cold winter nights.

Wonderful, very soft and fluffy blanket. I got the bigger size and it would be big enough for two kitties to lay on. My kitty sleeps on it every night and seems so comfy and warm. It’s very good quality and I like that I don’t have to plug it in because it uses the cat’s warmth as like a reflective effect. Would buy again.

The product is for the larger of our 2 cats. We have Lili a Burmese “ princess “ ( she acts like one) and a marvellous once feral long haired boy named Ganesh. Lili who is always cold find heat by snuggling with Ganesh and Ganesh goes to the heat when on. We decided that Ganesh needed a really good self warming blanket and this one fills the bill. Fluffy and thick and obviously comfortable and on top of that the outer cover is machine washable. Ganesh thanks you, Lili thanks you and “ Mum” and “Dad “ thankyou! Definitely recommendable. 😻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TL;DR (for those not up to snuff on online lingo, this means “too long; didn’t read” and summarizes a lengthy post, or in this case, a lengthy review. You’re welcome.) – Gorgeous, soft sherpa or sherpa-like top cover. – The cats use it and will sometimes stay there for a long time. – Try covering it with a pillow case or one of your t-shirts if you’ve given them, say, a week or two and they really don’t seem to be catching on that this is a good thing. Also catnip. – It is not a bed but a pad. You’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting it to be thick like a bed. – It does not heat up on its own but uses the pet’s body temperature to provide heat. Hence the description self-warming or self-heating. – It is not noiseless. There is a quiet crinkle sound. – Overall an excellent purchase and one I highly recommend. I put this on a chair in front of the loveseat where we sit. It took both cats a few days to be brave enough to sit on it (we had placed them on it a few times but they jumped off of it immediately.) Once the cats discovered it for themselves they started lying on that chair when we’re in the room, and will sometimes stay there long after we leave for another part of the house. I bought another one of these of a different brand from Amazon (cheaper than this one) at the same time I ordered this. This one is much nicer, though to be fair the cats seem to like them both equally. I just think the cover of this one is softer and a better quality material. In spite of what the listing says, it is not quiet. There is a crinkle sound. To me it sounds a bit like when you pull apart clothes from the dryer that are stuck together by static cling. It is subtle but worth mentioning for people who can’t tolerate certain sounds. One of my cats kneads it before she lies down on it so I think she likes it. It’s like a crinkly cat toy. I see so many reviews saying the cat didn’t take to it. The key to making it work is just like the real estate mantra: location, location, location. And time. Just let them discover it and try it out themselves. It may take a while but be patient. Put it in a spot you know they like already, or are likely to like. In a sunny spot perhaps, but somewhere near you. Cats want to be in the same room as us, if not right next to us or on our laps. I saw one reviewer say that now her cat lies next to her on the couch since she got the pad. You can always put a pillow case or one of your old shirts on top of it — or wrapped around it — if your cat is fussy about textures and just doesn’t like the top fabric. Also try sprinkling a little catnip on it. Lots of comments in the reviews about it not being thick. It’s a mat, not a bed. You can put it ON a bed if you like but this is not meant to be thick like that, though admittedly they do use the word “bed” in the heading for the listing before they call it a pad. The mat does not heat up. How it works: the bottom of the cover blocks cold, the bottom layer inside reflects the pet’s body heat, the next layer up insulates, and then there’s the top cover, which is the part they lie on and is a beautiful, soft sherpa. It uses the cat’s own body heat to create the warmth. I have one of these I bought years ago that plugs in and even it doesn’t actually heat up but also uses the cat’s body heat & weight (it needs some weight, I guess, for all the layers to work together.) I am impressed. I wasn’t sure if it would flop because I was skeptical that it would stay warm as it says it does, but it works!

Mon chat adore! Il se couche souvent dans une baie vitrée et malgré sont petit lit il fait plutôt froid. Mon chat à une poil style laine mais il est très douillet. Il se couche toujours dessus pour dormir et guetter les écureuils.
