I have a terminally ill kitty and this food was recommended by chat GPT. I have 7 cats in the house and so far they’ve all enjoyed Ernestine’s leftovers. Ernie isn’t too picky but she is obsessed with the chicken and salmon flavor. I’ll have to buy more and try others. Here are some of the benefits I read about from Chat GPT: 1. My cat is extremely finnicky and would never eat any wet food. He is on a special urinary tract food but would only eat the dry. We tried this once and he LOVES it! He waits by his bowl for his "treat" every morning when I get up! This stuff is awesome. It is REAL food, not fillers. And he has had no trouble eating it with his dry prescription food. He is 15 and a half and doing great!

What a joke! Looks nothing like the picture in the description. Also, upon opening the carton, I found it only about 1/3 full of food. So, basically, you are paying for 2/3 of a carton. My cats just like the sauce off and leave the food. I will NEVER buy this again.

Good product that I use as a topper on my cat’s food. Frisky is a very picky eater so I’m always trying new ways to entice her to eat. An added bonus - this is very healthy food and smells delicious!!

I buy the Beef flavor. One of the few wet cat foods my cat enjoys and his sensitive stomach can tolerate. I refrigerate this so the consistency is thicker. Pretty healthy. My only issue is how expensive and difficult to buy this is

I wasn’t sure if this was just a waste of money at first. It took a bit for my cats to act like they like it. However, now they eat every bit of it. I can use it for two feedings so it last longer than the small cans of food and I like the ingredients. It also has more moisture than most canned food.

Clean ingredient list. Ethical product. What's not to like? Well the packaging for one. Its impossible to get all of the food out of these containers and I always end up getting some on me in the process. Also its really liquidy so you have to feed more of it than you normally would feed. I usually add a bit of water to their food to help their kidneys, and use it to rinse out the can at the same time. But this food is so liquidy, that if I add any more water, the cats won't eat it. It won't even be soup, it'll be broth at that point. And the cats really didn't care for it. They ate it the first couple of times it was served, but then started leaving food in their bowls. We rotate what proteins they get fed to help ensure they get a varied diet and a more interesting one. Being on scheduled meal times, this is a big deal for them to leave food. They can't just come back later and keep snacking. So they'd rather be a bit hungry and wait for something different at their next meal than finish this food.

My 'mature' but very active, highly opinionated, 6 pound cat has decided that she will eat sauce, lick off sauce, and maybe nibble the pate, shreds, or cubes of actual meat. Water stirred in is deemed 'not acceptable' (insert withering look of disgusted disappointment). This has led to weight loss. We needed more sauce augmentation and more calories to get into her system. This Harvest Chicken was a bit spendy but it has been better than wasted food, goes in and stays in. She has gained healthy weight back. The container is easy to open due to a pull off perforation line at the top. The top mostly closes shut due to the folds of the container and I just put it in the fridge to get out and squeeze onto the main course at feeding time so another storage container is not needed. One box lasts us 1-2 days depending on crankiness level.

When I purchased this, I did the "math" in my head and figured each unit is about the same price as other pet food stores would sell it as. Not significant savings BUT it does save me a trip or two from the store! Great as a topper, as much cats don't care too much for it by itself. 🥲 this brand also carries amazing products that my cat favours (like broth, etc).
