Ordered this to test the family’s vehicles when we have issues. It is a basic unit, easy to use and you get some quick start instructions with it. My husband who is a mechanic would have preferred some more in-depth instructions as they refer to acronyms without telling you what they mean and some aren’t industry standard, so you are left at first trying to guess the meaning. He would also have liked a clearer breakdown of what each menu meant as the layout is similar to others in the industry, but the menus are not labelled with familiar headings that you see on other devices. Again, more in-depth instructions would be useful to explain what it means especially for home users. He likes that it can be updated, although he thought it would have been useful if this could cancel the engine service light as he now services all our cars now they are out of warranty and this would have just saved a bit of hassle. Overall, it is a useful bit of kit just takes a bit of adjustment. My reviews follow this star rating: 1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product.
