Pucks with Wall Switch Remote

I was hesitant to buy these, but I needed a solution to a dark closet. While I am skilled enough to run a new circuit and install some puck lights, it seemed like overkill for my closet. When I finished upfitted the closet with cedar walls, shoe shelves and multiple hanging racks, I needed to be able to see what was in there.My misgivings were based on the lux value for these lights, which I believe was 40. While these are not super bright, they are more than adequate for seeing what's in the closet. From what I read, you could buy a second set if you needed to cover a larger area.The switch was super easy to install (double stick tape with screws as a supplied option. I installed the switch near the hinge side of the door, so its completely hidden, but quickly accessible when needed. The lights installed the same way. I test fitted them, came up with a good overlap and for now they are attached with tape (Hint:when installing things with double stick tape, hold them in place for 30-60 seconds to give the adhesive a chance to grip well).I can't speak to battery life, but the lights turn off automatically if you forget to tap the switch on the way out, so I expect them to do quite well. I suppose I could get two Halo puck lights, a switch and gang box, and some 14/3 and do the install, but for the money, this was an excellent way to solve a problem much cheaper and easier. No drilling, snaking and wiring. Just put the batteries in, stick them in place and you are good to go.I would rate them 9/10 because I would love more light, but these are a really good value and solution.

Great product! I love that you can operate the 2 puck lights from the 1 wall switch (included). Works perfectly every time. Can attach via included screws or included self-adhesive tape/pad. Wish it also came in almond color in addition to white, but not a deal breaker for me. Also wish you could buy additional puck lights without having to purchase another wall switch, but I really can't complain about anything on this product because it's so cool and a lifesaver. Battery operated - no need to hire an electrician to put in cabinet lighting.

My only suggestion is to use your own command strips and not the ones that come with. They do not stick at all! They'll fall down constantly. The light itself, however, is super bright and the switch works great. Overall, good product. Just buy command strips with it!

The media could not be loaded. Super easy installation, with 2 options. You can use nails for a sturdier install, or adhesive strip as well. The lights come on and off easily so you can use them as individual lights.best feature is the light switch though, makes it feel like it was part of the closet already. Pretty bright as well, and amazing for the price. 5/5!

I loved this product so much, I bought a second set for a closet in another room. The bad part, is that the 2 separate sets share the same frequency or however that works. The remote on one set also controls the 2nd set. So my mom in bed in her room with one set as a back up light for when the power goes out....the second set in my sons closet that before, didn't have light. Now he uses his remote to turn his closet light on, and my moms bedroom light comes on, and vise versa.

I didn't want to wire lights into my closet and I liked that this came with a switch. They both turn on at the same time or you can push the light itself. The switch is outrageously big considering the size of the puck lights. Even a similar switch for wired in lights is smaller but I can hide it in the closet and it is still convenient. I like the Velcro or screw attachments so you can choose. They aren't rechargeable they run on batteries but I only need to turn them on for a few minutes so it shouldn't be a problem. If you needed them on for longer or more frequently I'd say get something rechargeable.

Incredibly dim and absolutely not worth the price (half that at most)--My nightlight is brighter than both of these lights combined.Got these for a hallway closet and the switch feature is great, but these are so dim that it's not even noticeable when turned on. The adhesive strips are also terrible and the lights fall off the wall within hours (switch and lights do have optional screw mounts).

Very nice lights for the room under the staircase. Otherwise known as the “Harry Potter Room” in our house.
