The Twilight Zone: The Complete Series Blu-ray

This Blu-ray set is a must-have for any fan of classic television or thoughtful storytelling. The Twilight Zone remains one of the most iconic and genre-defining series of all time, and this complete collection does it justice. The packaging is well put together, and the disc organization is clean and intuitive, making it easy to jump into any episode. So far, playback has been smooth with no issues across any of the discs I've watched. The picture quality is also surprisingly sharp for a show from this era—restored in a way that keeps the original feel but brings out a lot of detail you wouldn’t see in broadcast or DVD versions. Whether you're rewatching old favorites or discovering Rod Serling’s masterwork for the first time, this set delivers a faithful and enjoyable experience for fans of sci-fi, suspense, and social commentary.

One of my favorite series on blu ray. This series looks and sounds amazing. There are many things that have been revealed because of the resolution. You can see make up mistakes and bad painting on backdrops. The best that this set has to offer are the extras. So many hours, radio dramas, isolated scores, commentary etc. . . The complete series costs about as much as two or three seasons pitched separately.

There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It's a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of mans fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination, it's an area in which we call the Twilight Zone. Season one contains my favorite introduction to the show. As reviewed by many, the casing of the many discs is sub par, but for myself, taking out the Blue-Ray Disc's is easy. Thus far I've only watched a little more than two dozen episodes, and everyone has fantastic picture and sound quality. From 1959-1964, TV was a journey into the past, present and future, and the creator of "The Twilight Zone," Rod Serling set new standards for science fiction, horror and the bizarre in this fantastic TV series. Serling's introductions and conclusions to the episodes are fitting and his voice and writing seized my senses in many of the episodes. "The Printers Devil," starring Burgess Meredith as the devil is classic TV at its zenith. Exit the infernal machine and with it his satanic majesty Lucifer, Prince of darkness, aka Mr. Smith, Serling said at the conclusion of "The Printers Devil." These words spoken by Serling seized my imagination. Delicious dialogue is laden throughout many of the episodes, and it will be a long time before I view all 156 shows and that's OK for me. It's understandable "The Twilight Zone" was a stepping stone for many future Hollywood stars. The writing was gripping and sometimes disturbing, but always intriguing. Perfect for the month of October incidentally. The shows include original and remastered audio, and most of them have other special features. A booklet with an episode index would have been nice, but bravo to the CBS Studios 2021 remastering of this TV classic. If you've never seen any of these shows and appreciate witty dialogue and solid story lines, I highly recommend this Blue-Ray Disc set. "Time Enough at Last," "The Masks" are just a couple of the many episodes that have cemented themselves into the heart of time and real entertainment. As stated by Serling; Science fiction: the improbable made possible. Fantasy, the impossible made probable. What would you have if you put these two things together? Hearing these words in "The Fugitive" with Serling's signature voice will never cease my journey into the 5h dimension.

The bonus features are generous: commentaries, interviews, radio dramas, and isolated scores that elevate the package to a full archival experience. This isn’t just a show you watch—it’s one you study, absorb, and carry with you. The packaging, while not egregious, leans functional over beautiful. Slim cases housed in a basic outer box—sturdy enough, but lacking the visual flair this series deserves. Still, it’s the content that matters, and it’s here in pristine, haunting clarity. Five stars. A masterclass in storytelling. A mirror held up to yesterday—and frighteningly, to today. Una joya en la narrativa de la naturaleza humana bajo el amparo de sucesos irreales en un contexto de brutal realidad (la nuestra), las historias que se narran en los 156 episodios de esta maravilla tienen su centro en la persona, cambian la ropa, los carros, las casas y el resto conforme amoldamos nuestro entorno (con todo lo bueno y lo malo que eso signifique) pero lo que lo hace atemporal es como tanto sus protagonistas como los de este lado de la pantalla (siendo observados desde la que no podemos ver) nuestros comportamientos poco o nada han cambiado.... Sin mucho rollo esta con madre, y aparte los bonus en cada capítulo le dan un plus de fabula maese.

Splendido cofanetto, totalmente assente dal mercato italiano. Tutte, ma proprio tutte le serie di Ai Confini Della Realtà, con numerosi contenuti extra e una qualità video mai vista. Consigliatissimo, anche perché contiene molti episodi mai andati in onda in Italia.
