I have found that this chess game makes illegal moves. I have made the board play against itself, this photo shows it suggesting that the King moves 3 spaces. I'm not happy about buying this item. What do you want to do with it regarding a replacement or refund.

Lexibook ChessLight LCG300_10 is the coolest! I had this product when I bought it in England in the year of our lord 2006. Since that time I played Chess on it until 2009 when I had to move away and so it was lost in the process. I am happy to own a set once more. This electronic Chess board has 64 levels (of which about 15 normal style playing strengths). It is consistent, reliable, durable and extremely well designed. The quality is very satisfactory. I myself is a connoisseur of Chess. Even if the price a a bit steep, it is great value for money and totally worth the money!

J'avais acheté ce jeu il y a déjà plus de vingt ans je crois et il fonctionne toujours. Il est très intéressant pour s'initier aux échecs. Pour des débutants qui s'affrontent, il peut indiquer les coups illégaux et pour des amateurs, il propose une palette de programmes dont les niveaux sont très bons. Je l'ai offert à nouveau pour de jeunes enfants. Le seul reproche: le plateau est trop petit mais autrement, c'est une excellente idée de cadeau intelligent pour un enfant.
