Used on 22lr slide.
Fits great. Installed on 22lr conversion kit for 92fs. Can't say how well it will hold up to 9mm but has does fine on 22lr. Overall conforms to slide pretty well so there is a lot of contact surface. Does not impede the use of saftey.

great seller and the product fits well with little effort
I was able to install this sight adaptor on to my Taurus 92 af with little effort. The item works as it should and I am looking forward to mounting my new holographic sight as soon as it arrives. Justin

Great Idea, wish they had more foot prints for other red dots.
I put this on my Girsan/Beretta clone. It works perfect so far. The stock screws did brake.

Check Your Shooting Need
Easily replaced the rear sight on to the Beretta FN and provided a sturdy base for my Vortex red dot. Pistol used in IDPA shooting. However, because of the violent nature of the slide recoil (9mm factory and hand loads) the two screws holding the red dot would either come loose (used blue thread lock) or would shear off. Using steel screws, they would strip the threads on the aluminum plate. Changing the recoil spring helped but increased the recycle capacity. Good for plinkers and casual shooters, not for run-n-gun shooting styles.

Ade could have made this unit useful to a whole other group of firearms owners ...
Mounting plate seems well made and fits my Ade Advanced Optics reflex sight. Unfortunately the dovetail on my Taurus PT92 is seems slightly wider than the one one a Beretta. I had to fabricate a 0.025" shim to make it fit. However, not all Taurus users will have the desire and wherewithal to make a shim. Ade could have made this unit useful to a whole other group of firearms owners by just including a slightly wider Taurus specific dovetail insert in addition to Beretta one.

Loose Dovetail
It might have been my Beretta, but I got 2 optic plates. One by itself and one with green dot sight. Dovetail was loose on both. The rear sight on my Beretta 92f has not been removed before. I used the new sight pusher I purchased. Used a trick my father showed me to knock dimples in the Dovetail to tighten up. Most people are not going to know how to apply this technique,without a gunsmith.

this product is very well made . it seems to be very durable i cant wait to install it on my beretta . right out of the box it feels good. and it looks good too nice and sleek.
