GUNK M720 Chlorinated Brake Parts Cleaner - 19 oz.

Sprays hard, gets crap off real well. You can get a good amount of use from a single can. Worth having a bunch of. potent smell though, but goes away expediently.

I use this mainly to clean gasket material off oil pans, trans oil pans, water pumps, oil pumps that use Hondabond (gray), Toyota FIPG (black), or Threebond 1281 (red). It does an incredible job and quickly leaves bond surfaces absolutely free of oil. It literally leaves it squeaky clean when rubbed with nitrile gloves. Speaking of, if you get too much on your nitrile gloves, you may feel a tingling, burning sensation. It doesn't melt my 6 mil gloves, it just reminds me of its awesomeness. If it hits your skin, it'll start tingling soon after. This stuff is hardcore and the fumes are pretty strong. It'll make you light-headed if used in a closed garage. If your worried about it being chlorinated and melting everything non-metal it touches, don't be. I accidentally oversprayed paint, clear coat, plastic, rubber hoses, accessory belts, wire harnesses, and finished wood headboard in the garage and just wiped it off with no damage. If you're wondering how I accidentally sprayed the furniture, this is also the best wasp/hornet killer known to man. Instant death/wing-melting power. Emphasis on instant. I didn't hold back when using this stuff like I always had to before or else I'd always run out. I went through a case on three nasty, über greasy, huge jobs. I used it to clean parts, as an engine degreaser, brakes, suspension parts, struts, coil springs, garage floor spills, drain pans. Zero problems or issues. Never melted paint or rubber. 19 oz cans are awesome. I'm sure I overused the hell out of it which is why I went through it so fast. I was in a hurry to do three family members' timing belts and suspension work before the semester started. 4Runner, Highlander, and a Civic. Best brake cleaner I've ever used. No BS. I had some 3M non-chlorinated brake cleaner left over from a previous job to compare. The 3M just ran off the grease like water while the gunk cut right through it. I'm about to purchase another case. Maybe two.

Very good comparable cleaner to other brands. Value for product is good. The spray is powerful enough to dislodge particles that aren't "caked" on due to normal wear. Leaves no distinguishing residue. Packaging can be better, my second shipment came with box in a box and all the cans loose. Even caps off and broke one nozzle, making that can useless.

Works sooo much better than non chlorinated solvents. The can has excellent spray power. Can doesn’t last too long though.

Decent brake cleaner for the price. Not as good as other brands but plenty of pressure. One bonus is the cans have a larger fluid amount per can as compared to competitors brands at this price point.

I had a lot of parts to clean and this was perfect. Cleans parts very well, just spray and wipe.
