Flow 8 mixer is awesome!
To start off with. This is my first digital mixer and I love the features and how compact it is. I have put the app on my phone for now so i can play with it and figure it out. I will have to say i didn't know what i was missing out on! The the clarity alone much less the Headroom it is adding to my speakers are amazing. I am very impressed. I definitely recommend this mixer. And the price for a nice digital mixer is awesome! I first played with it on a Everse 8 and a EV ELX200 12SP and I couldn't believe the differences! Everything was a lot more headroom and the clarity was like i was listening to defferant speakers. For the prices and the quality of this mixer I think you will find anything better especially if you have never used one and wanted to try a digital mixer out. Also the Bluetooth works great! And you can EQ the Bluetooth also. I have not tried out the Fx yet but it has a lot of options. This is a great value and I don't think you will be disappointed!

Great little mixer!
So far I love this little mixer. I have the Behringer XR18 which I use for the full band. I needed something smaller for our duo but there are very few mini mixers that have monitors sends that will allow the effects to be in the monitor. My wife insists on reverb in the monitor. This mixer will do that and way more! I received it on a Thursday, did a quick test, then used it Friday and Saturday for two long duo shows. It only took me a bit on the first show to figure out the best eq settings for my speakers and to learn the compressor. Some people said they didn't like the compressor. I think it sounds great. It's true that is a very simplistic compressor but you just have to find that sweet spot. I started with it set to 100 and backed it off until it was just kicking in on the louder notes. There is a little indicator when it kicks in. I had been using a mini mixer with no compression until now and this has made a big difference. Now everything sits nicely in the mix. I read reviews about the micros usb power cable ahead of time so I was very careful when plugging it in. I've ordered a right angle extension that will stay plugged in and then I'll just plug into the extension so hopefully it won't break. I bought a little tray that attaches to my mic stand and the mixer sits within reach while I'm playing. One other thing I love is the little volume knob for the blue tooth. We play with tracks and not all tracks have the same volume so now I can quicky adjust the volume of the tracks without switching screens on the app if I'm not on the main mix.

A must have for mobile DJ's
The Behringer Flow 8 is a must have for mobile DJs, it's basically a mixer, equalizer, compressor, limiter, and crossover into a single device. This all-in-one solution allows DJs to fine-tune their microphones and enhance the overall audio quality as well as reduce microphone feedback. The Bluetooth input feature is an added plus, providing an easy way to connect backup or auxiliary devices wirelessly. One of the standout features of the Behringer Flow 8 is its fully configurable outputs. You can configure three different outputs (Main, Monitor 1, and Monitor ) and all comes with their own equalizer and limiter. Additionally, all of your configurations can be saved on the Flow 8 as presets, making it easy to recall your configurations for different venues or events. This level of customization ensures that you can tailor your sound to suit different environments and requirements, offering superior control over your audio setup. At this price point, this mixer offers a significant upgrade to any DJ setup, offering professional-level audio management and flexibility that can elevate your audio experience.

Great little mixer
Great little mixer. Unmatched at this price point. My review below: Out of box was fairly easy as far as getting an input and the output working. Straight up, with 1 issue. The default gain is "off". Until you can get the gain a bit higher, nothing comes out (or more accurately, nothing goes in). Things got a little tricky beyond this though. Next thing on my checklist was setting gain levels and getting vocal effects working and to do that, I needed the phone app. Downloaded the app and tried to connect. Nope; however .... there was a handy "show me how to pair" button that let me know that I had to go to the menu and put the device into pairing mode. Being a device developer myself, I think this is stupid. If the device has never been paired to a phone before, it should just go into that mode until there is a pairing. Just my thoughts. Anyway, the button worked and it paired. Now, setting the levels was straight forward, but the control in the app is flakey and has very little fine control. Still, it gets the job done. Now the efx levels took watching a video to figure out, but was reasonable. One last gripe before I start praising the device. The headphone output isn't as strong as I would like. I am using the AT ATM50x headphones (38 ohm, 99db sensitivity). Now granted, I like my music loud (actually my guitar and vocals), so it may be fine for most. Note: My ZED 10FX headphone amp was much stronger. My X32 Rack is about the same (just to give some reference). The first 2 inputs are dead quiet, but 3 and 4 have some hiss to them. The efx are EASY to get a good sound out of. Perhaps not as good as I can get with the X32 using internal bus filters and the plate verb it has, but really quite good. Any beginner should be able to get a breath taking sound from this mixer with a decent mic and a good guitar (My guitar is a Taylor 810 with an L R Baggs Anthem pickup installed .... which is gorgeous through nearly any system). The app VU meters are a big laggy compared to my X32 Rack and WiFi app (which appears instant). Still, it gets the job done (I am using a Pixel 9 Pro). This is a cool little mixer that is super compact, can run off of a battery pack (USB battery pack) and can give any duo or solo artist a great throw-and-go rig. The only thing I would have liked to see included in this little mixer for solo/duo performance would be head phone amps on the 2 aux outs so you could have wired IEM's directly connected to the mixer with no other equipment. Oh well. They definately met a price point here. At $200, there is NOTHING out there that comes even remotely close. Oh, and being able to multi-track with a $200 mixer? Just Wow. This is definitely something that is WAY better than my old ZED 10FX. PROS: 1) High quality preamps and great clear sound on 2 inputs 2) High impedance inputs for guitar inputs eliminates the need for DI boxes 3) Great effects that are dead simple to get sounding great 4) Real faders! A digital mixer with physical faders at this price is amazing. 5) Easy to show someone how to use basic mixing functions (no tablet needed) 6) ULTRA small and portable. CONS: 1) Weak headphone amp (many wont even use it. I only use it for practice alone at home) 2) Setup isn't intuitive (even for someone that sets up mixers that are FAR more complex than this) 3) Goofy choice of micro USB vs USB C 4) Relatively noisy channel 3 & 4
