I wanted a nice sandwich plate. My dessert plates for Corelle are small and dinner plates too big. These are perfiect and pretty. I was so excited to get these for Christmas.

Love these plates. Beautiful stylish and feminine but sturdy. Will not chip or break. Love the Corelle brand. Both durable and pretty

I bought a couple of the christmas corelle sets, but they did not include the lunch plate and that is the size I most often use. I will use the dinner plate as more of a 'charger.' They don't offer the christmas prints in any of the lunch plate size, so I chose these. The embossed area is only on the outer edge and it very elegant - which made me think it will go with the christmas prints nicely and it does. I changed from super heavy ironstone dishes set years ago because they were just too heavy to be lifting in and out of the cupboard. I whose Corelle as my every day and special occasion dishware. I've never looked back. Lightweight, but extremely durable. Dishwasher, micro safe. I am very happy with these embossed luncheon plates - although I do hope one day they expand the holiday size options! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. A great set of plates, thin and light. Nice pattern.

I bought these because Corelle is wonderful for high quality glass dishes, that do not shatter if accidentally hit on the counter. Also because this specific series has been tested by the well known company “Lead Free Mama” via XRF, and was found to be free or any lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury. Highly recommend this purchase due to the durability, brand, the pretty elegant pattern, and the assurance that it is tested for toxins and safe to use for all ages.

These corelle dishes are perfect for a family kitchen. Being nonbreakable is the best point about them. I would buy them again.

As always best quality dishes I have used for past 20 years.
