Gave this to my daughter as a gift. She told me later after using it that she loved it and felt her nails were healthier after one use. She loved how they shined and mentioned not using nail polish anymore. She also liked that it was so simple and compact to use compared with many of other products she had bought and used in the past. She is very picky about things so i felt i had chosen well. This product is awesome!! It works, and gives your nails an unbelievable hard-coat-super-shine!! Not sure the science of how this works... but it is witchcraft!!! I love it!! Works fantastic on natural nails, and acrylic nails. The shine NEVER fades or leaves, and doesn't really scratch. You don't have to re-do the filing process ever! I get my acrylic nails done professionally by my friend. I bring this bad jackson, instead of a doing a gel top coat. This is WAY better than a gel top coat. I gave an overall 5-stars, but I do have a couple of gripes... 1. It seems pretty flimsy... so I am really unsure how long the file will last. 2. It is $$PRICEY$$ for this tiny, flimsy thing!!! I mean way to expensive!!! If the file lasts and lasts... then it would be worth the price. I will just have to see how long it lasts!! UPDATE- JUNE 30 2020: I will stick with my original statement that it works, and makes your nails WAY shiny!!!! However, as you can see from my pics the shining side is completely flaking and falling apart. Keep in mind, it's flaking after literally 3 uses. Wow!!! I love how good it works, but would NOT purchase again!!! It's literally worthless now, because the shining side of the block is completely peeled off. It's way to expensive as well. No, just no!! UPDATE- JULY 2 2020: I contacted the company personally from their website (not through Amazon, since my return window had closed), and told them about how the buffing block was falling apart. I also sent in the pictures. They immediately offered me two options. 1. Get a full refund (even though the return window on Amazon had closed), and keep the original buffing block I paid for OR 2. Have a new buffing block sent to me free of charge, and still keep the original buffing block I paid for. I chose another buffing block. The customer service was awesome!! I bought this on 5/4/20 and could return it back through Amazon up until 6/3/20. Even being past the return date, they STILL helped me!! I appreciate that, and definitely will change my mind and order from them again.

I am BLOWN away by this buffer. Don’t judge my nail shape/cuticles I was too excited to try this when it got delivered. In the first picture, I had used the yellow and blue sides and it was already impressive how smooth my nails got. Then I started to shine starting with my thumb and I Immediately stopped because I was floored at the shine and took a before photo - 2nd photo being the after. I BARELY rubbed the white side on my nails and this is the shine. Freaking polished. It came with two replacement white sides so I’m pretty sure this is going to last awhile. I also bought the buffer that came with more replacements for just a bit more so I’m set. I’m the type to scour amazon for hours (yes, even for nail buffer blocks) and dude I could not be happier this is the one I chose. It’s more than worth it. I’m like begging ya’ll to choose this over the $3 ones and remember to only buff your nails ONCE a week to maintain the strength of your nails otherwise you’d be stripping them. I’m sure just once a week with this will be enough. This thing is magic. I also got the cuticle conditioner from this brand and applied it last night before I tried this and noticeably, my cuticles ARE softer so I’m excited to do a full nail routine. You only need a little (it is a small tube and that worried me). BTW I feel like this is a good opportunity to share that ya’ll should also get sally hansens instant cuticle remover, a cuticle pusher, and cuticle cutters. These things in my nail routine (and now this block) have TRANSFORMED my nails although I haven’t quite figured out how to make them actually stronger as genetically it seems Im prone to weak nails that chip and break.. maybe this block will help. I also take nature’s bounty hair, skin and nail pills (my nails wouldn’t grow otherwise).

This product does work and makes the nails shiny

My nails look so healthy and beautiful. It looks like I'm wearing a shiny clear coat! And so easy in 3 steps, first use the Clarify side that evens out your nail texture, then the Boost side that smooths it out and then the Shine side that makes your nails look absolutely stunning!

I have been using the Olsen Nail Buffer Block for a little while now. Using the buffer block, I have been able to smooth the horizontal lines in my nails which cause my nails to split and break and they now look shiny and healthy. I would recommend this buffer block for anyone with problem, splitting, brittle nails.

Fab product. Does what it says and delivers beautiful shiny nail. No need for varnish!
