Whole petals - looks great!
I bought this to make hibiscus simple syrup. Very much looking forward to adding this to my already awesome fresh pressed juice and premium tequila Paloma drink, taking it up another notch in awesome flavor! I got the idea to add hibiscus simple syrup while at Mexicue, located in midtown NYC. I noticed the bartender added one extra ingredient I wasn't familiar with and asked what is was. Well, you can guess. That's why I am here writing about these petals. Maybe I'll update this review with a picture of one of my Palomas when I make some. Based on reviews, I was worried about receiving a bag of settled, small cut pieces that were mixed with contamination of unwanted debris. I've not yet looked in the bottom of the resealable bag, but based on the amount of loose large petals I don't plan on using any settle particles in the bottom. A strong sweet aroma was noticed when I tore off the top of the bag to expose the resealable opening. I carefully pulled out a large handful to not break the petals and placed them on a plate to examine. What is shown in the pictures is exactly what was grabbed out of the bag. No selection process. There is very little particles. Considering my handful of petals came from the top of the bag, I noticed the majority of the remaining petals in the bag were loosely packed -as if the petals would be the same, not smashed and not compressed into an unknown mixture. I've not yet made the simple syrup and will update my review after I do. However, gauging the strong sweet smell of these petals, I am sure it will come out as planned. I'm not sure there's much more to say about this product for now aside my from wife laughing at me when the product arrived. She asked me "are you making potpourri?" while she expressed a big jokingly smile and my face slightly blushed followed by me quickly correcting her impression of what I ordered these for.

Wonderful!
My mom recommended hibiscus tea to me because I was having some regular digestive issues and wanted to stop relying on TUMS and Pepto Bismol. I looked around for different hibiscus tea variations and this was one of the few without that prop 65 label warning so I went with it. To my surprise, the bag is HUGE and the leaves are really good quality! Definitely great value here. It's been only day 3 of drinking this 1-2x a day and let me tell you - my bloating and digestive issues have been put to rest! Seriously a miracle tea, and it tastes pretty good too. I'd say it tastes like cranberry juice minus the sugar. I like it as is, but I know my mom likes to add a bit of honey for extra sweetness. Personally I love the tart taste - it's like lightly flavored water! It supposedly has a lot of great benefits for your body such as helping with premenstrual cramps, weight loss, keeping your liver healthy, and reducing blood sugar levels / cholesterol to name a few. I'm excited to add this to my daily routine. It can be enjoyed both hot and cold which is also nice because in the summer months it gets really hot out where I live. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Delicious cuppa!
This dried hibiscus is wonderful! The flavor is tart, but not bitter so that it makes an amazing cut of tea. I drink it alone or combined with other dried herbs - hot in the winter and iced all summer. Excellent product!!

bang for your buck
Not going to lie i ordered my tea before the reviews an instantly got worried my tea was going to have bugs or was fake. But, the hibiscus tea i ordered has been great, free of bugs thank goodness. Also you get a lot of tea this is a huge bag which lasts. the aroma is good and although not a relaxation tea it was very tasty when steeped in simple syrup and cooled. Would 1000 percent recommend

Great value, flavorful and fine quality
Hibiscus tea was reccommended to me by my integrative health physician for high blood pressure control and prevention. I was greatly surprised at how flavorful and fragrant this tea is. I use an infuser and make it by the cup and have especially enjoyed it cold during these summer months. For me it is an economical and pleasant addition to my overall health routine. I am not a medical professional and therefore will not advise anyone with regard to BP treatment. Having said that, I attribute the addition of this tea to my daily routine as a success in my BP management and have seen a consistant 10 point drop with my daily intake of 1 cup of this tea. It is a terrific value as well.

Taste is good and feels like home
I was feeling homesick and ordered these because I wanted some Hibiscus tea. I was not disappointed the packaging was solid when it arrived and The Taste is good. Just remember wash the dust off lightly before you brew your tea.

Beautiful Hibiscus Tea
We drank hibiscus everyday, not just because we love the taste but also to keep our blood pressure in check (my fiancé’s BP has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY and is now within normal range following Dr Greger’s 2 cups a day suggestion, it’s worth looking up if you are curious about the studies regarding hibiscus being as effective as meds). I have faithfully purchased all my loose leaf tea from The Tea Spot in Boulder, CO and while I still enjoy their teas, they’re a little pricey. I am so glad I gave this brand a try! The quality is so much better. The flowers are beautiful and mostly intact vs the tiny bits and pieces I’ve been used to. And once it’s been brewed the flowers are so pretty - it reminds me of the flower blooming tea bombs I occasionally treat myself to.
