I’ve been using this serum for just over a month and am already seeing real results. I’ve struggled with stubborn hyperpigmentation from melasma and sun damage for years, and even after treatments like Moxi laser and hydroquinone, I still had discoloration on my cheeks. Since using this twice daily, those areas have noticeably lightened and my skin tone looks more even. For the price, the quality and results are amazing. I’m hooked; this is definitely a staple in my routine.

I am on my 6th bottle. I use every morning and every night. Gives me glass skin! I’m 52 and my skin has never looked better. It’s hydrating, non sticky and gives me a glow like nothing else! It’s cheap and I love that. Non scented.

I’m still at the stage of trying a lot of Korean skincare products. The acwell licorice products seem well formulated and help brighten the skin. I’m not pregnant but have read licorice is a good substitute for vitamin C, especially for women who are expecting. Based on the popularity and positive reviews, I purchased several acwell licorice-based skincare products: the foaming cleanser, licorice mist, licorice toner, and this licorice serum. The mist is refreshing and hydrating, and the toner and serum do indeed seem effective at brightening. Only one of this list did not work well for me—the foaming cleanser. It is a bit too harsh for my delicate skin which is thin from years of steroid medications for an autoimmune disorder. I find I’m From brand’s Rice Whip Foaming Facial Cleanser more gentle and less prone to stripping my dry skin. In retrospect it makes some sense that a “brightening” cleanser might be too harsh for skin like mine. I do recommend the serum, though :-)

Feels light on my skin and love to pair it with Acwell's toner (one of my favorite toners!). I think licorice is really good for keeping skin happy and healthy, and I have no complaints at all about this serum. It's one of those products that seem to keep skin in check. Can't say much about its brightening abilities, but I do love how purifying it is. Great to have in rotation!

I’ve been using this in the morning for a week to help with inflammation and red spots due to other more harsh products, tretinoin and minoxidil. All my redness has cleared up and my complexion is much more smooth and even. I use a face cleanser before it and make sure to cleanse the night after use but have been very happy with the results.

As expected

I've been using the toner for a out 2 years and recently decided to purchase serum. I love it. It's not heavy, keeps my face moisturized since the lotion I use is more on the dry side, so thus balances it out. I will continue with this brand 🤗

It doesn’t work, and it broke my face out worse.
