Works great
Great value. I bought this seat for when the grandbaby comes over. She is 32 lb. This is a great seat that should last for years. Not bulky. Easy to take in/out. I use the latch system which is easy. Install it only when needed. Once you practice, you can install in under a minute.

Lightweight, easy to install, and spacious—great for travel!
I purchased this car seat for our little one specifically for travel, and it’s been a fantastic choice. Key Features Lightweight: This car seat is incredibly lightweight, which makes it perfect for travel. It’s easy to haul around without too much effort. Quick Installation: Installing it front-facing is super quick and simple, which is a big win when hopping in and out of Ubers or rental cars. I haven’t tried rear-facing, so I can’t comment on that, but the ease of front-facing installation is a huge plus for us. Spacious: The seat is very roomy, which works well for our ever-growing toddler. It’s comfortable and gives them plenty of space without feeling cramped. Ease of Cleaning The cover is easy to remove, which makes cleaning straightforward. However, since it isn’t water-resistant, you’ll need to plan for drying time if there are accidents and you don’t have access to a dryer.

Comfy, basic, difficult to install rear-facing
This seat is plush and cool, so my kids are very comfortable in it. The materials are great, the size is perfect, the safety ratings are reassuring, and the price is amazing! This is a bare bones seat, though. It has no convenience features like an easily adjustable no-rethread harness, or a level so you angle is correct. However, that is reflected the VERY affordable price (about $85) The only issue I have with this seat is that it is a huge pain to install it correctly and securely in a rear facing orientation, especially if you have deeply contoured seats. PROS: - Great rear facing height and weight limits - Higher forward facing weight limit than almost any other seat in this price range, allowing your bigger kid to stay in a harness longer. My 4 year old is almost 45 pounds, so this 65 pound forward facing limit will allow him to stay on a harness for a few more years, until he is ready for a belt positioning booster. - Relatively compact size, with straight sides that make it easier to fit next to another seat. - Comfortable, cool fabric. Won't absorb heat like a dark seat if you live somewhere hot. - Plush seat! - Machine washable cover. - Cute styling! I got the aqua blue for both my son and daughter and they love it. - Easy forward facing install. - Lightweight and easy to carry for travel. CONS: - Difficult to get a tight installation rear facing. - Does NOT fit 3 across in a Jetta. - Tedious to rethread the straps and adjust the headrest. - The button you have to push to loosen the straps is buried under the cover and not marked, so it isn't easy to find and use. All in all, this is a great basic seat for the money! I use them as travel seats and back ups in our second car. This seat won't work well for someone who needs to use it for different children, as it must be removed from the vehicle to adjust the headrest and strap heights. It also wouldn't be ideal if you were going to be moving it from one car to another frequently, as the install isn't as quick and easy as it is on models with more convenience features. But it's safe and sturdy and does its job, and you really can't beat it for this price!

This seat is everything I had on my check list.....
I bought this car seat based on design and price. I did quite a bit of research both online, reading reviews, and in stores. I couldn't believe how expensive car seats are - going up to $300! With twins I needed something reasonable. The first feature I was looking for was a design that they would be able to sleep in without their head falling forward. My 15 month old twins do a lot of sleeping in their car seats. I wanted a well padded seat. I wanted a simple design, especially one that would be easy to keep clean. I wanted a compact car seat. And I wanted it to fit up to 65 lb. So there was my check list. This seat checks every box. It is everything I was hoping for. My babies really like their new seats and being able face forward and look out the window. The seats are well padded and comfy. They are compact. They are a no fuss design, simple to use. And my babies are able to sleep in them! The one tip of advice I would give though: in order for my babies to sleep in them comfortably without their head going forward, I pulled the car seat forward on the seat and folded in the back stabilizing bar. The first time I used the seat with it all the way upright and against the back of the seat, their heads did flop forward when they went to sleep. But with it pulled forward the angle is perfect now. The cover is easy enough to take on and off for cleaning and I love that I can just throw the whole thing in the wash. And they are affordable! If you're looking for a simple and comfy chair, this one fits the bill.

Loved it at first - now I’m annoyed.
When we first bought this seat - I was super excited because it’s so slim and fit wonderfully in our car! We used it forward facing for our 2.5 year old, and it was good. When she fell asleep in the seat - I seriously thought her neck was going to snap, or she would stop breathing. There is zero head support. Now - we’ve purchased a second one for our one year old twins. Using them rear facing makes me regret buying them. Adjusting the seat is a joke. To make it safely level - the instructions recommend rolling up a towel to stick underneath the front of the seat. For the Price, this shouldn’t be the only option to get your car seat level. I was so frustrated I almost returned it. Rear facing, there is also zero head/neck support and I would NEVER put an infant in this seat. I worry about my one year olds closing their airways - I can’t imagine how it would be for a foppy headed infant. Overall, this is our only option because we have five kids that need car seats and this is the only thing that will work in our van. But the second I find something better with the same width, these are gone. So - long story short. If you need a slim car seat to fit three across in the back or to wiggle it between your existing car seats, this is probably your only option. If you don’t need this for it’s width - I wouldn’t recommend it.

Great for the price
In terms of cost, I think this is a pretty great, basic car seat. There’s no fancy “bells and whistles” included that some other models may have, but it does have a cup holder, and a headrest that is easily adjustable. We’ve had this car seat for about a year now and it’s held up perfectly. Easy to clean, travel with, and secure into your vehicle. We’ve only ever secured it with the seatbelt. Pros: The Onyx color is lovely, we didn’t want anything too bright or flashy and the color in person matches the picture. It seems comfy, I’ve obviously never used it personally, but my daughter has never seemed to have an issue. Lightweight. Pretty compact in size compared to others, we have a very small vehicle (Chevy Spark) and this fits pretty well without looking very bulky. Although, it doesn’t fit in rear facing position without moving the passenger seat as far up as possible. Cons: The straps twist constantly in the bucke part. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but I can’t seem to stop it from happening.

Simple & great
Ordered this to go into grandma’s car when my kids are with her. It’s super light weight. But definitely hard to secure into place. Doesn’t look very comfy, and there’s not like head rest. But at the same time, you’re getting what you pay for, so value for money, I think it’s great. It’s pretty small which is great for saving space or in smaller cars.
