This stuff is good; but SUPER-DUPER HARD and also Extremely Hard to get out of the container when you need some for a recipe!! I cut my hand on the rim of the jar trying to pry a few chunks out!

I have purchased this kokum butter twice and will continue to do so! Kokum is chalky and odorless. It isn't as soft as shea but not as hard as cocoa. I make and sell organic body butter and use kokum as one of the butters in my recipe. Mine arrived in plastic both times so I assume they no longer use the plastic tubs. If you want to try it in your recipe I recommend that you mix more of the other butter (shea, cocoa, or whatever you may use), OR use a carrier oil due to its chalky texture (which is no reflection of Plant Guru that's just its texture). I highly recommend this butter!

Arrived quickly…I am in love with this kokum butter. I have sensitive skin so I researched lots of butters for my homemade scrubs, lotions, and soaps. My skin has never been softer and my face looks amazing! It cleared up my face and I was using a prescription from the dermatologist that work a little. My homemade kokum butter face soap and lotion healed my face. I am beyond happy with this product. Tomorrow I plan on making chapstick stick out of it!
