I know these are supposed to be used for hot pots and pans. I have yet to try them for that. But I use these as a bowl mat for my guinea pigs so their veggies stay clean from the wood shaving bedding when they pull it out of their food bowls. For that use- these mats are great! The quality of the mats are great, too. Not thin but not too thick either. Extremely easy clean and dry. And a nice soft silicone feel. Its great quality! I'm sure it'll work great for its intended use once I try them for that.
