Excellent and It lower the humidity inside the house specially in Dubai ... electricity also went down as we feel it’s cold when we set it less than on 22c.. really big change but u need someone to fix it and will cost u 500dhs

After 3 months. The wifi connection just stopped. Amazon only offers 15 day warranty and supplier offers 0 days.

I was initially very happy with my Nest, (I have 4 installed) but this one just randomly stopped connecting to the WiFI network. I tried all the recommended 'fixes', to no avail. I also tried to get hold of Google Support but it has been a long process and have had no luck as yet. Not impressed, considering it is such a large established organisation! The Nest is not even a year old yet.

Started malfunctioning within a few weeks with the thermostat not able to connect to wifi and turning off on its screen . A/c cannot be controlled or changed and now, barely 6 months later, we have a non functioning nest . We have other nests for years and they were never this troublesome

Unlike Google Branded Nest thermostats, this thermometer can’t be controlled from Google Home, except for temperature set point. No hostory, energy readings, or fan control/schedule as this one is not Google branded.

After two months of use. WiFi failed. Amazon refuse the warranty replacement. Google refuse to help because it was sold on Amazon. Buy it somewhere else with warranty!

Although Nest products are a bit “Pricey” they are a quality product that works as advertised,while offering “Idiot Proof” installation. As I’m not the most mechanically inclined individual.nest makes the installation of their devices simple,heck they even provide a “branded” screwdriver.Once installed, setup and connection to your WiFi is again simple and straightforward. After setup you can control your thermostat thru your phone app from anywhere that you may be. As a bonus it plays nice with Alexa,which allows you to check the temperature and adjust your thermostat just by issuing verbal commands. And lastly it just looks good, mine is copper colored with a round black wall plate that I purchased at extra cost thru Amazon.Or just use the white (square)plastic wall plate that comes with it. Whichever way you go you won’t be disappointed with the Nest Programable Thermostat.

I don't really need something like this as it is more of a luxury item. However, all new homes have it and I wanted to spoil my house. We have a heat only system with gas boiler and in floor radiant heat that takes a long time to warm up the house. This is probably the worst system to be a candidate for the NEST but I did it anyways to up the cool factor of the home The bad thing is that you need a nest to control each valve. We have 3 zone valves here so things can get pricey really quick if u replace all 3 thermostats. Good news is that install was a piece of cake. I only had 2 wires to connect and no C wire. Works like a charm and thermostat automatically charges up and stays charged. Hadn't had issues with wifi or anything

This is my third Nest Learning Thermostat. I love the look and functionality of the device -- when it works -- hence why I am on #3 in five years. However, there is a major issue with the design of this thermostat and that is the internal batteries. The batteries that are part of the unit deplete over time and can no longer hold their charge. When this happens, the unit will disconnect from the Wi-Fi and will turn off the display, and other features to preserve battery life. The power going into the unit from your HVAC system may not be sufficient to run the thermostat (as may be the case in older systems like mine) which means that the Nest Learning Thermostat needs to be replaced. The batteries, to my knowledge, are not accessible nor are they replaceable. Customer support from Google is not at the same level as was the support offered by Nest prior to Google's acquisition. Customer support effectively will tell you to buy a new thermostat when the old one fails. On the plus side, the "copper" version is up to $75 less versus the other metal options on Amazon and, in my opinion, is stunning. For this reason (and because the only real alternative is the ecobee 3 which requires an HVAC installer; Nest does not), I rate the thermostat in copper as sold by Amazon as five stars.
