This table is gorgeous. I am in love with the size and overall look. It reminds me of a really nice wooden, pub table or brewery table. My only gripe (minor temporary one) is the assembly. Do not do this on your own. You will get frustrated and it will take some time. The stools are particularly difficult to assemble and the assembly engineering is flawed. The screws that come with it must be aligned PERFECTLY or will not work well. It took me and a friend about two hours to assemble from start to finish. Besides this, the table is superb and is great for small homes/apartments especially since the stools slide under the table perfectly. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially at the price at which i purchased it ($199)

Great set that came really well packaged. Mine had only a small crack in the table top, but otherwise fantastic. I would like to echo the sentiments of the other reviews here. The stools were so frustrating to put together. I'm glad that I'm not the only person to have this problem. I you are not very strong, you may need some help to push the crossbars down to get the bolt to attach. Once it is together, the set is rock solid and is a fantastic price for the quality of the product. If you want a long lasting table, for the price of a short term solution, then look to this table.

Research & design didn't perfect the product, I don't know how it got approved for mass production before it was packaged to be sold, the reason I say this is because the screws didn't line up with the holes and of course the consumer has to either return the product, which I didn't, or make it work so, I went to Lowe's and purchased the things necessary to make it work. I put it together and no one will know it wasn't put together with the parts and manufacture instructions, unless they turn it upside down and see I put it together with determination and ingenuity. The three star rating is because it's a handsome table not because it was easy to put together.

So I've been looking for a small dinner table for my place that was a little bit different than your normal one. I saw this set and immediately liked the look of it. The look of this was probably the most appealing thing and it was considerably less expensive than most other table sets I viewed. Another key point for me was that the stools and table top were real wood and not particle board or fiber board with paper veneer on it. Really don't like those kinds of tables personally so having this be real wood was a real sticking point for me. Also, I don't really have a lot of space in my kitchen so I also needed something compact, but still looks nice. Assembly of this set was a bit cumbersome however it took me a little over an hour to set everything up. I did have a couple issues with the support brackets not lining up correctly. I promptly contacted their customer service department and they're sending me new ones. Also, even with the entire package being packed with styrofoam, the table top had one significant chip in it. For those people complaining the stools were hard to put together, I didn't have this issue at all. Should go without saying but when assembling the stools, don't tighten the screws until all of them are in place. Once you have all the screws hand tightened, then you can tighten them all and the stools go together without any issues. One of my main gripes with this was the smell. I assume it was recently made when I received it because the smell of lacquer/stain was pretty pungent. I had to open up the windows in my place to air out the smell for two days. It's gone away now but the smell was really strong for the first couple of days. Overall, the stools are pretty sturdy however not too comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. I might get some cushions or something later to address this. The table is nice and sturdy as well and roomy enough for 4 people to eat comfortably on it. I like this table set as it looks nice, fits in my kitchen perfectly and is relatively inexpensive.

I love this table!!!!! We were looking for something that was rustic and modern and small enough to fit in our small dining area. This looked amazing on paper and even better in person. Just be warned, the stools are EXTREMELY difficult to put together. My husband had a hard time and he's very handy. One of the stools broke during the putting together process so be careful. The company sent replacement parts within a few weeks but just be careful.

Hard to decide how to rate it - the table is great, and exactly what I was looking for. BUT.... It arrived with three damaged corners on the tabletop and one damaged chair. The styrofoam it was packed was shattered by the time it arrived, making for a lovely mess and zero protection for the table. I can't stress enough that I would not recommend this, as a nice table doesn't do much good if it's badly damages when you receive it.

Beautiful! Very good quality. It is very sturdy and durable. Definitely worth the money, which was very reasonable. It's a perfect size for my son's apartment, but large enough for them to have a couple over for game night. They are pleasantly surprised with how good it really does look. Putting it together was fairly simple, but my son had to modify a part that didn't quite fit properly, but said it wasn't a problem. They were just really happy with the table & chairs in general. They also said the chairs were comfortable and sturdy enough for his pregnant wife... even though she isn't much heavier than a feather ;). My son is 6' tall and weighs about 185 lb.

Easy to assemble and it looks great in my apartment dining area. The seats are comfortable and sturdy. The table has a bit of banged up areas on the corners and underside due to packaging. It looks like the metal rods rubbed in some areas during delivery and handling. It is heavy so use caution when unboxing and moving it into place. Very cute and is easy on the eyes.

I am so disappointed. Had to return the first one as the table top corner was damaged, and table leg supports didn’t lineup to be able to fasten. One item on a chair leg was welded on crooked making it not possible to assemble. My second replacement order has arrived and the first chair I put together is not level and the next I was going to assemble had a hole drilled on the opposite side of a bar so an unable to assemble the chair. Otherwise would be a beautiful little set. Also not seeing an option to return my replacement order.

Thought this was a strong sturdy set, was I wrong. Used the bench a few times and it broke completely in two. And we are not heavily set people by no means . Just waiting to see what happens to the other three. Now I cannot get a hold of the buyer because the set is saying unavailable . Very disappointed

Chipped table top in multiple areas, paint pealing. Stools uneven. Not worth your money.
