Glad i didn't pay over £15, and seriously doubt the more expensive ones would be any better. I have a small hand and measured base of my thumb just where it meets the finish of my wrist. I made the right choice of getting the extra small which translate to the 2 holes not 3 hole type grip..I do a lot of pull ups and have tried many gloves wraps hooks over the years and these bears are nothing of the exception. They protect the palm but so do all gloves but doesn't protect the fingers from getting callouses as the finger holes position themselves too low down where fingers meet palms. In fact you get a slight discomfort where the fingers holes chaff a little bit between the fingers whilst doing a lot of pullups. the main advantage is that there're lightweight and you can use them over thin fingerless gloves which means the sit higher up the finger pass the knuckles

I've only used them once but overall I was impressed, the quality is great and the velcro strap is very secure, however they are a tad on the small side which makes them uncomfortable to wear. I measured Medium but suspect I probably should have purchased a Large.If they fit better, I would have continued to use and have rated 5 stars.

These guards made a big difference! They help me grip the bar, protect my hands and are comfortable.

Avoid these, go for gloves. They are not comfortable when on, lack real grip and are pretty annoying to be honest 😂
