Way less flys
Used this product starting in March of 2025. Substantially less flies and zero maggots in the manure. I have used other feed thru fly products but this one works the best. My horse readily eats the pellets.

It Works! I’ve Used it Two Years in a Row.
I’ve waited to write a review for this product until the weather was consistently warm (and flies were likely to go after my horses.) We began using this in February and it has worked incredibly well. It is now mid-June and we have some flies in the barn, but they are about 90 percent less than last year and they tend to congregate around the muck buckets instead of the horses. I have tried so many fly treatments (i.e. fly spray, fly masks, fly boots, permethrin, etc.). This product works. The key is to put the supplement in the feed about a month before flies will appear. If you wait until you’re under attack by flies, it won’t be as effective (we also used it at the end of last summer and the result wasn’t as good as being proactive / starting early. It still helped but this year has been much better. My horses still wear fly boots, but we only put fly masks on when they are outside and the flies are going to find them anyway. The flies in the horse barn were intolerable last year and that’s not the case at all this year. The horses get a few flies but nothing major. The product is outstanding. I highly recommend this product. It has helped reduce our fly population so nicely and the price isn’t crazy. You honestly save money by purchasing this instead of using five other fly repellents to get to a lesser result. My two horses love the flavor and have no issues with this supplement. Thank you for solving our fly nightmare. :)

Product works!
The best feed through fly control for my small barn of6 horses. We all start on March 1 and continue through Oct 30. I have tried 2 others that did not work as well. We are all very happy with this product. Been using it for 3 years this will be the 4th year

Important player in fly control
I was nervous to do a feed through pellet with my horse but the flies get out of control so I decided to go for it. I’ve been using this product for about 5 months now because it’s important for feed through pellets to have time to build up in the system in order to be effective. The lack of flies in my barn is so noticeable that my farrier asked what I was doing for flies and he noticed I have considerably less than any barn he goes to. I am pleased with the effectiveness of these pellets and there’s been no ill effects on either of my horses. Definitely worth the value. The best way to combat flies is a multifaceted approach: - Feed through pellets starting in early spring before the bugs start waking up. Just one scoop daily. Super easy. -Equi-spot every 2 weeks -Fly spray -Daily poop cleaning in the areas near or in barns I live in buggy TN and this combination works wonders.

Unbelievable results
To say I was sceptical is an understatement, I was desperate for a solution to the flies in the stall and barn area. Using fly spray with chemicals on my horse wasn't what I wanted to o tried natural spay... I was out there 3 or more times a day. My horse has a fly sheet and fly mask and he was still miserable. It was an unreasonable monsoon summer here in New Mexico. I did some research and found this product to be highly regarded be horse owners with great results. My horse had no problem eating the grain formula. He's food driven! Within 2 days I noticed I wasn't fighting as many flies when I went out to feed and water and clean the stall. Within 5 days it was very noticeable that the flies were significantly less. Mostly in the manure I needed to pick up. My horse is happier, not having to fight the flies to get to his grain bucket! It's worth the money and... It works fast!

Fly control
It reduces the flies but I think it is impossible to get rid of them. We used it for two years and will continue to do so. We are also surrounded by cattle.

What's different
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Late year I started using this product and was amazed there were NO flies on the piles of manure I was shoveling. It did not keep the flies off the horses, but at least I wasn't adding to their procreating. This year, with a new bag of 707, flies are still in the manure. I thought perhaps since I stopped using this product through the non fly months, it took awhile for the product to be efficient but it's been 3 weeks. I will finish out the bag but wo improvement will not reorder.
