Nice entry level wireless mouse and keyboard
I finally convinced my wife that her computer issues were being caused by her wired mouse and keyboard, and got her the MK235 setup that's I've been using for several years now. Couple of things to note. The keyboard does not have a power switch nor any Caps Lock or Number Lock lights. She's not a power user so this was okay with her. The mouse DOES have a power switch, which to her is important. Both the keyboard and the mouse came with Duracell batteries, AA for the Mouse and AAA for the keyboard. I installed the transceiver in a 2.0 USB port. Took Windows 10 about 15 seconds to set up the dongle. I then powered up the mouse and it worked immediately, and the same with the keyboard. One function that was missing from her previous mouse was a working scroll button. She has that now which makes her happy. She does light gaming on her computer so she doesn't need a $400 mouse or keyboard. And if this is like other Logitech products I've bought, it will be very durable as well. The mouse is a perfect fit for her hands, and she can type with ease with it. It's perfect fit day to day use, but I wouldn't probably recommend it for heavy duty gaming ability. It's worth the price, and she's no longer getting frustrated with her computer. And to me, that's 5 stars.

Great keyboard for everyday use, Worked the seconded I plugged in the USB Receiver
Purchased this to use my laptop on my TV and leave the laptop on my desk. Quality keyboard especially for the pricing. It's not an extended-wide version keyboard, so if you have big hands it might feel a little cramped, the arrow keys and num pad are all close together next to the QWERTY keyboard. Comes with a non universal receiver, so you have to use the USB receiver that comes with it, and the keyboard can't be paired to other receivers like on the Universal Receiver Logitech line. Range seems to be really good, using it 10 feet away - it has no issues or missed keystrokes. Recommended!

Works well
I would recommend having your own batteries, the ones that come with didn't power the keyboard for mine. A couple of Duracells fixed that. The packaging made it impossible to lose the receiver dongle while unpacking which I thought was convenient. Just insert batteries and plug in the dongle and you are good to go - it couldn't be simpler. The unit is lightweight, looks good and has a good touch. I was amazed at the quality and performance for an item that is this inexpensive. The mouse is as good as the keyboard. I like the fact that it can be turned off to save battery, although that is something I tend to forget. It's very responsive and feels good in the hand. It lacks niceties like lights to show you if caps lock is on and audible feedback for key press. I haven't actually tested each and every key to make sure they all work, but I haven't had a failure yet so I assume they do. If the batteries last as long as they say it could hardly be better.

Fully functional low-cost wireless keyboard/mouse combo.
This review is for Logitech MK235 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Windows, USB Receiver, 15 FN Keys, Long Battery Life, Compatible with PC, Laptop. After 9 years of reliable, daily, home-office use, my desktop mouse (part of the Logitech MK520 wireless keyboard/mouse combo) had developed an irritating habit of intermittently double-clicking when I single-click. I decided that I needed a replacement and, given that 9 years is a reasonable life-expectancy for such a device, I chose a Logitech replacement. This MK235 wireless keyboard/mouse combo is a low-cost, no-frills product. The boxed set includes keyboard, mouse, batteries, USB receiver and an instruction sheet. The system is out-of-the-box seamlessly plug & play compatible with my Windows 10 desktop. The keyboard is full-size with number-pad, usual function keys and angled support; no on/off switch or indicator lights. The mouse is smoothly responsive with scroll wheel and tactile click-response. Both keyboard and mouse in this MK235 set are smaller and more lightweight than my previous set; however, they fully meet my needs for daily use and I am hoping they will last another 9 years. Logitech also currently offers a MK540 Combo which is larger/heavier and has additional features.

Poor Build Quality and Loud Keys - Returning This Product
I am honestly disappointed with the Logitech MK235 Combo. While I expected a reliable wireless setup, the actual quality feels like it belongs in a garbage disposal. Here are the specific issues I encountered: Key Stability: The keys are incredibly wobbly and feel loose in their place the moment you touch them. Noise Level: This is an extremely loud keyboard. In fact, it is louder than some mechanical keyboards, which is unexpected for a membrane-style office set. Build Quality: The plastic quality is awful. It feels cheap and poorly constructed. At this price point, there are much better quality keyboards available on the market. In my opinion, the value of this product based on its quality should really be around $5 to $9. Overall, I cannot recommend this, and I am planning to return it. You can find much better options for your money.

Much harder to use than they used to be
I'm struggling to write the review on this actual keyboard because the keys are too tightly packed and I keep hitting the wrong keys. I loved the last Logitech keyboard I got and I would still be using it except the mouse quit and they share the same USB thingy. Oh well. Time to find a new keybopardd. Dang it, see what I mean?
