Super Intense Red and Infrared LED's with Options
After 3 days of ownership, this product will hopefully help in relieving my back pain. The pad has 120 red LED lights and 240 infrared LED lights for a total of 360 LED lights. It comes with a velcro strap to allow the pad to be worn as a belt that allows adjustability from a 1" to 50" in circumference to allow it to be worn on arms, legs, stomach, etc. The unit can be powered with the included AC power adapter or with a 5V USB Power Bank, which is not included. When operating on battery power, the unit seems to be about 50% intensity and the lights are not as bright. This is probably a function of the current output of the USB Power Bank. The unit offers different modes where you can choose to only have the both red and infrared LED's on, or either red or infrared LED's on separately. When all lights are on, the unit does get fairly warm, which is soothing for muscle aches / pains. Their is a solid mode and pulsing mode to reduce the intensity of the lights. Pulsing can be activated after the first button press when the power button is green by holding the button down for 3 seconds, which turns on pulsing mode and changes the power button to blue. Note the instructions were not clear that you had to first turn the unit on before doing the long press. Overall, the unit seems to be well built. I hope to get years of use from it.

Instant knee pain relief after just 1 session!
I've spent about $1200 on high quality powerful red light devices. After seeing a Gembared review on RLT LED belts I decided... What's another $100? I bought one of these. The very first time I used it was on my left knee for 20 minutes. It has an automatic timer shutoff. I just sat in bed with my leg straight, watching TV and letting the light do its thing. I take it off and go about my day. It was about an hour later I noticed for the first time in months that I had ZERO pain in my knee. It was like a miracle. I was elated at just the idea I was walking around, sitting up and down without any of the pain and groans that mistakenly mark me as an old man. The bad news is the relief only lasted about 24 hours, the pain returned but at about 80% of what it was prior to RLT. I've been using the wrap on both knees for 20 minutes and also my torso 3 20 minute sessions (upper, mid and lower) as the wrap isn't that big. It's easy though to just have in against your skin under a t-shirt and move it down and turn back on again while reading or watching TV. The advantage of one of these over standing in front of a unit, is no glasses needed, longer times at lower levels possible, practically no loss due to reflected light. If I was making a first purchase or recommendation this would be it. I can't imagine not having one of these in my life for the rest of my life. This thing really works. BTW - I thought for weeks I'd buy the DGYAO but after considering the EMR power issue this one seemed like a better way to go. It's just about the right size for me and I'm a big guy like an NFL player.

This unit helps my lower back pain & Great customer service
I purchased this unit to replace a similar unit that finally died after many years. It works well. I like that it can be used with a portable power bank, as well as plugged in to a wall socket. It doesn't get quite as warm with the power bank, but is still effective. The cord that goes from the power bank to the unit came defective, the USB end fell apart with the first usage - which is why I only gave it 4 stars. BUT the customer service is great! They sent me a new cord at no cost and it is of a sturdier design. I also had a few other questions and Vivian on the support team has been knowledgeable and patient. All done through email, but I still felt well taken care of. BTW, the power bank she recommended has been working good, here's the info on it, which can also be purchased at Amazon: Anker Portable Charger, PowerCore Slim 10000 Power Bank, 10000mAh Battery Pack

My favorite heating and therapy pad
Red Light Therapy exposes you to low levels of red or near-infrared light. This unit has two kinds of light therapy, red and infrared your eyes can’t see Infrared light, but your body can feel it as heat. Red light is similar to infrared, but you can see it. This pad has 120 red LED lights and 240 infrared LED lights for a total of 360 LED lights. The unit comes with a nice velcro strap to allow the pad to be worn as a belt and allows it to be adjusted, allowing it to be worn on back, arms, or legs The unit can be powered by the included AC power adapter or with a 5V USB Power Bank, cord is included The unit offers several operating modes. Push the power on button and it lights up green- steady on mode. Hold that button down for 3 seconds and it turns blue indicating it is in pulse mode. In either mode-- The first setting will have both red and infrared LED's on, push power button again and red only lights are on no infrared, third push of the button turns off red and only infrared is on. 4th push shuts the unit off. After several weeks of use I found this unit to help relieve back pain and help sore muscles recover faster. I like that it is lightweight, easy to setup and use. The USB cord lets you use it with a computer or small power supply, I love that. This makes those old heating pads obsolete therefore it is highly recommended

Okay but not great.
Replacement for another off brand which was cheaper but lasted only 6 months. This one is a bit larger but is much softer and more flexible. Wish it had the same controller as previous product I had where you can control temp and time and view progress. This one runs hot, have to use pulse feature to lower heat produced. Did email product support, so far no reply. Red light therapy has helped relieve my lower back and left knee pain. Unfortunately most of these pads do not last very long.

Don’t be fooled by the language they use to market this
This also contains LED lighting which is reported by a light scientist ( on Dr Andrew Huberman podcast ) to destroy Mitochondria. Quite contrary to the benefits of 670 long ( not short which this product is) infra red lights. Wish I could return it.
