Yo yo!!
The Yomega Fireball Yo-Yo truly lives up to its reputation as a high-performance classic for both beginners and intermediate players. It has a transaxle system, the Fireball offers smooth spins and extended sleep times. What stands out most is its durability and consistency. Even after countless drops and heavy use, the yo-yo holds up well with minimal wear. The responsive return is great for learners, as it snaps back quickly with just a flick of the wrist. The build quality and design is impressive for the affordable price. The plastic feels sturdy and lightweight, and the shape allows for comfortable grip and stable rotation. The axle system is what sets it apart: it reduces friction and enhances the smoothness of spin, giving users better control and longer sleep. The Yomega Fireball is a reliable, fun, and skill-building tool. It’s not flashy with lights, but it performs exceptionally well

Awesome stocking stuffer
It was a stocking stuffer for my 50 year old son:). His sons tried it, too. Winner because of the above average quality.

Loads of fun
It's taken me back and given me a moments experience of being a child in school again, so that's wonderful. It works almost every bit as well as the yo-yos we had as kids. They were basic and didn't have switch gears and mechanisms, bearings, rollers, sleeves, flashing lights or any of that, just a wooden peg and a loop of string. This one is equally basic. They were a little denser though, a little heavier and that meant that they would keep spinning a little longer and some tricks were a little easier to do. They were a little more encouraging because success was just a little easier to achieve, so if you're buying this for an actual kid bear that in mind. For an adult it's a triviality to use. As far as durability is concerned, I've had my fun and it'll go into a drawer where the only thing that'll affect how long it stays structurally in tact is how long it'll take for the plastics it's made of to decompose. I expect it'll last for literally hundreds of years. The centre pin is made of dense plastic which has a soft steel (soft for steel, much harder than plastic) threaded peg in it. I expect that it wouldn't be trivial to break even for a particularly badly raised angry and destructive child if used as a yoyo. It was radically expensive and if I weren't very nostalgic I probably would never have spent this much on such a simple toy that's so easy and cheap to produce. Even at fifteen dollars it's expensive. If one includes shipping, which is very nearly the same price as the yoyo the cost of this thing was extreme. A thirty dollar yoyo is an expensive little toy. It's tiny and very light, there's no way the entire shipping price was related to the cost. This was one of the cheaper yoyos from this brand, the ones with fancy innards are far more expensive. A Yoyo shouldn't be more than a few dollars and shipping half that. The argument that a cheaper one would break or not work as well isn't valid, it's fair to expect that a product does what it says on the tin and doesn't collapse on itself if used as intended.

I don’t believe it…
It really IS the same Yomega Fire all I had when I was in elementary school. It performs just how I remember. It even jump started some memories. I can still do the trick I haven’t done in 20 years??? Somehow because of how this one performs. I’m thankful this still exists and isn’t a knock off

I have to fix it
I actually wanted to return this yo-yo but missed the window after re-boxing it and setting it aside. It came with the string being tied too loosely to wound the yo-yo back up. The string continues to spin and come undone when trying to roll it back together. Unfortunately the knot is so small and tight, we have not been able to get it undone. I will likely have to cut the string in order to fix the issue. Perhaps not a big deal for some, but my 9 year old was excited to use it before it turned into a mini fix it project. Good luck!

The yomega yoyos have too wide a gap. This makes them not responsive enough for looping Tricks.
