So you want some good looking light fixtures but they are 110 volt. No problem. With these new LED bulbs which operate at 12 volts and use a standard 110 light bulb base referred to as E26 you can use light fixtures that were intended for 110 volt. If your 110 volt light uses candelabra bulbs E12 you can also find those in 12 V LED. I wanted some large light fixtures for our driveway gate but it was too far for 110 volt. So I got a 100 watt solar panel (generates 12V DC), a 12 volt rechargeable battery, and a solar charge controller (JVR 12V Timer Switch Programmable Digital 12 Volt DC/AC/Solar Battery Powered ) and put in this light system. I wanted some 110 V light fixtures out in the garden area and likewise I can hook these up to my 12 V A/C landscape lighting (these LED bulbs work 12/24 V AC or DC). So with these new LED bulbs that come in standard bases that lived in the 110 volt world you can now use them in the 12V AC/DC world. Side note: bulbs use a base standard and a size shape standard. The base of a standard 110 light bulb is E26. The shape is A19. You need to be aware of both as the base spec E26 allows you to screw it in and the shape spec. A19 lets you know that it will fit in the light fixture. A candelabra bulb will have E12 base (smaller)

This LED bulb provides much brighter light than our old low voltage incandescent bulbs. Makes it a lot easier to see the lower part of the driveway at night. We're excited about the projected bulb life too. Years, instead of months.

Not enough battery storage from solar panel to keep on

These are great in my new 110V bath fixture in my camper. They have a warm hue, and look great. Only con was that 1 of the bulbs was broken when the package arrived.

Beautiful light but it needs a Cush barrier between the glass globe and light socket. It’s too loose. Not stable.
