Awesome "do-it-all" (shaped) knife!
I really love the look and feel of this knife. I purchased this as it was the most highly recommended traveling chef's knife for outdoors. My goal was to get a knife that I could travel with when I went on vacations. I hate the knives provided as most rentals, and often brought my sharpening stones to fix chips and dull edges. Now I don't need to spend time sharpening knives or working with poorly sized or missing knives at any rental location. Personally, I prefer knives like santoku/bunka/chinese cleavers that have a flatter belly and larger blade for chopping and sweeping up the chopped ingredients. This knife provides all that, along with a curved tip for carving/raw meat prep. Thus, this knife provides the benefit of multiple knives in one package, in my opinion. The knife also came nice and sharp. I was able to easily slice through soft challah bread without crushing the bread itself. This was sent to the airbnb I was travelling to, and sadly there was no bread knife at my destination. Surprisingly this worked just as good! I've even started using this knife at home, since I like the "do-it-all" shape.

Awesome knife!
Fantastic product. Especially for the price. Very well designed. It’s comfortable in the hand, and well balanced. Comes with a really nice kydex sheath. The one I received came with very sharp edge that has maintained through many meals. It’s good for chopping vegetables, cutting through hard salami, and It’s been great for slicing through my sourdough bread without smashing it.

Fantastic knife for the kitchen, BBQ or camping
I have a huge knife collection of all sorts- Bark River, SpyderCo, Benchmade, etc. I’ve eyeballed OffGrid Knives for a while and recently picked a couple up and was impressed for the value. I’ve got lots of camp knives, but this was an excuse for a “kitchen camp knife” (and to buy another knife!). 14c is a great top tier budget steel, so I opted to try out the Grizzly II instead of the other camp chef knife OffGrid makes. I’ve only had it a week but I’m VERY happy with this blade. I’ve only used it in the kitchen so far, but it’s razor sharp, feels great in the hand and is performing beautifully. I had my stepdad slice some flank steak asked how he liked the knife, and he couldn’t believe how sharp and slicey it was. I guess I have his Xmas gift figured out, lol. If you are considering this knife, I highly recommend it if it seems to fit your purpose!

Nice Knife
If you looking for a durable knife get a D2 blade. This knife has good steel and overall has a great feel but my wife is a chopper and she dulls blades like crazy. Want to say something but I only think of when the knife is in her hand. lol. Heard d2 steel is really good but harder to sharpen cause of its durability.

Best kitchen knife ever
I use this daily for kitchen work at home. I actually look forward to using it for how well it performs cuts and chopping. Handle is super comfy and the 14c28n blade shows no sign of rust. Comes with a nice sheath too.

A KEEPER
Just received this knife a couple of days ago. I already have the fat boy pocket knife that I got some years back out of curiosity and is my go for opening and cutting down boxes and cardboard because of its stout little blade and small stubby handle which makes it easy to control and hold securely. It has held up very well and is easy to sharpen. When I noticed this Chef’s knife I figured that for the price it was worth trying and I am glad I did. Even though I’ve had it for just a few days I know it will be a keeper. The knife came quickly and nicely packaged. It includes the usual documentation, care material, and a sticker. Comes in a molded plastic sheath which has a snap and Velcro closure belt loop attachment so you can easily attach to your belt. The sheath holds the knife securely without any rattling and has a drainage hole too. (I unscrewed and removed the entire belt clip attachment as I do not plan on wearing it.) The knife itself is large but perfectly balanced. The thick handle is nicely contoured, very comfortable to hold and is even tapered so you can get a good pinch grip to move forward on the blade for precision control. There is also jimping on the spine to prevent slipping. The blade has a nice flat grind which tapers to a thin razor sharp edge. The tip is extremely pointy and there is a very slight curve of the blade to allow a rocking motion for chopping. The geometry of the knife allows for paper thin slices of both meat and vegetables. Comes with a limited lifetime warranty also. This will undoubtedly become a go to knife both in the kitchen and for the grill! PS: THIS KNIFE IS ONE FIFTH THE PRICE OF THE BENCHMADE ( MUCH OVER RATED IMHO; AND I OWN QUITE A FEW) STATION KNIFE AND IS OF EQUAL OR BETTER QUALITY!

Does its intended job with finesse and proficiency.
Awesome kitchen knife. The cutting edge holds up well and it sharpens with ease.

Excellent blade. Slice tomatoes (not to thick) or chop down a tree (very durable).
Excellent piece of steel. Great price. Comfortable handle. Well made. This thing costs just about as much as the materials it is made out of. Not sure how they are turning a profit. Get it. This thing is great. The closest to it in shape and use are some hybrid knives in the above $1000 range.

The knife has a nice blade profile and handle. It chops vegetables very well. I can’t comment on longevity or durability, but seems solid enough. I didn’t give it five stars because of the seller. It was clear to me that the knife was coming out of the states and the worst part is they used UPS to ship across border to Canada. I’m sure I’m going to get a letter from UPS in the near future saying I owe them some hefty brokerage fees. My second complaint is the absolute worst communication from a seller. I would avoid.

I saw some reviews of this knife and was very convinced by the design, so I decided to pull the trigger. I have worked as a chef and have cooked every day for the last 8 or so years. I held this knife for literally a few seconds and came to the conclusion that this is the best chef knife that I have ever layed hands on. In use, it performed exactly as I expected. It is SCALPEL sharp, and the bunka design means that the knife can be used to shovel food. Due to the superb high saber grind (pretty much full flat) the edge tapers to a VERY thin apex which means the knife performs absolutely amazing. Speaking of thin, the tip on this is insanely stabby and excels at piercing. The handle of this is also very well thought out and the texturing on the g10 makes it very grippy (this won't ever fly out of your hand, even if wet or covered in blood) I could probably write a several page review on how much I love this knife. Whoever designed this deserves a raise. Please do not discontinue this design, it is absolutely genius. In the future would love the exact design, but in Sandvik 14c28n. Irrespective, I will be buying another in the near future. 10/10 - BUY IT
