So as you can see by my picture, I've been using these belts to make knives. This one is a small knife I will be using to chop logs into kindling. I will essentially baton this knife using a hammer. So it has to be a strong and hard knife. I'm using the lowest grit belt right now to remove material. It has yet to be hardened. So the grinding belt is making short work of it. I'll move up the grits soon after I've tempered the steel. But there's lots of good things to say about these belts. Really great value for money to start. It comes in at around £1.30 per belt. In various grits up to polish. You can literally do 95% of any job using this belt set. I've added them to a draper belt grinder. The belt that came with the grinder is not as good as the equivalent in this set. They are well marked inside to give you all the information you need. I've moved a good 2mm from the knife in the pictures and there is little to no wear to the belt. I'm not going to tell you these are the best you can get. I'm certain they aren't. But for the cost. They are excellent. I will be buying more and I will recommend these to anyone who is looking for the same. Really decent quality for the price. Very pleased with them.

It's sandpaper and it sands things pretty good, what can one add to that, except it sands until it doesn't. The course belts can be brushed clean and do continue abrading effectively beyond a few dusty sanding sessions. The finer grits however, seem to wear down quickly, some of the high grit belts had lumpy seams which adversely affected the finish when working with metals. Would I recommend them? Yes, they are good value for money, if you just need to sand stuff. ✅

Después de usarlas en varios proyectos de carpintería y bricolaje, os voy a compartir mi experiencia. Estas bandas de lija están muy bien hechas. He usado cada uno de los granos en diferentes tipos de madera principalmente, y todas han mantenido su efectividad durante bastante tiempo. No he tenido problemas con desgaste rápido ni con roturas, lo cual es genial. El set incluye tres piezas de cada grano (80, 120, 150, 240, y 400), lo cual es perfecto para diferentes etapas del lijado. El grano 80 es ideal para remover material rápidamente y quitar pintura vieja, mientras que los granos más finos, como el 400, son perfectos para un acabado suave y pulido. Esta variedad me ha permitido completar proyectos completos, desde el desbaste inicial hasta el pulido final, sin tener que buscar bandas adicionales. En cuanto a rendimiento, estas bandas funcionan de maravilla. Se adaptan bien a la lijadora de banda y no se deslizan durante el uso.
