Huge Hashi Mixed Grids - Volume 1 - 159 Puzzles [Snels, Nick] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Huge Hashi Mixed Grids - Volume 1 - 159 Puzzles Review: A rare gem by this author - I've given unfavorable reviews to other books by this author, primarily because they are ridiculously difficult to the point of being frustrating and unsolvable without referring to the solutions page. This is the one exception I've found. These puzzles are challenging but worth the effort. Only a few require pencil-testing and erasing to try alternative solutions. Even then, the correct answer reveals itself fairly quickly. And the puzzles are very large, so each one presents hours of entertainment. This is not a book you will zoom through in just a week, so it's excellent value for the price. I will definitely purchase more Hashi from this author. If you're into Hashi, this is an excellent choice. I just wish the author would make some of his other books (Slitherlink and Kakuro, in particular) as accessible to casual puzzlers like me. Review: Fun activity to keep my brain working. - I completed this puzzle book years ago and went on to volumes 2, 3, and 4. Now I'm back to volume 1 again and enjoying it. The puzzles make me think. I also appreciate that there are other types of puzzles toward the back of the book.

Addicting
I bought this book for my wife, who's a big fan of Hashis, and she can't stop doing them. So far she's spent hours on this book, and she has a lot of puzzles remaining. They're a good challenge, too. My wife is good at Hashi, but she's found herself having to restart some puzzles.

Perfect level for what I need - not too hard, not too easy. Really are huge grids - love them

Great book with some extra different puzzles at the back

Grids are okay, but the initial pages are badly printed, containing many errors. Shame for what looks like a good book.
