Our Dyson's battery was dead after a few years and could no longer hold a charge. The battery would die in <5 seconds. Started to look at new vacuums but found these replacement batteries.This battery is great! Brought our Dyson back to life, and actually better than new! The battery capacity is almost double the original Dyson one, so this lasts twice as long with normal usage. In addition, this has lighted battery status indicators on the side which the original did not have, so we can tell how much juice is left. This is better than the Dyson's original battery in every way.
