Now I've been in the audio world for quite some time and am aware that unless you have a very bad or resistive cable, you should be fine with most things, so I usually pay a bit more for durability. So I would like to start by saying that I'm not buying this cable because it has some kind of superior sound quality to the £7 ones. That being said, this cable is lovely, it bends so nicely with 0 kinking, the connectors are solid and firm. The presentation is nice, it comes in one of those pull apart sealed bags and the ends have some black woven material on them. They sound just fine. Ultimately it's just an RCA cable, but at least it looks, feels and performs (that is with no flaws, compared to others which are susceptible to noise) like a premium product. Very happy and highly recommended if you just need a cable with a bit more of a premium feel to it.

I bought this cable because of the Steve Huff's review and I can confirm it is exceptional interconnect. Sound has become more opened and controlled. Used with tube amplifier.

Excellent quality, highly recommended

There's a buzz on some audio forums about these. I don't subscribe to the "wires sound different" debate but, I got caught up and bought a pair. They are well made, good value, and do the job very well. No, they don't make any difference to the sound in my system, maybe I have cloth ears &c. But, they are a lot easier to acquire than making them to an equivalent standard so why not? For the science minded, they are HIGH CAPACITANCE cables. Use with circumspection in any cartridge to phono stage, or in a SUT to phono position, because they will almost certainly make a big difference there, maybe for better, maybe for worse. Between a pre-amp and power-amp, no difference at least on paper, but at the price let your ears be the judge. Recommended.

Bought these to connect my CD Player to my Amplifier, for the price they sound far superior to the previous upgraded ones. Lovely detailed sound, hearing much clearer mids and highs, cymbals sound lush. Punchier bass too. Very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend to anyone wanting decent sounding interconnect cables that won't bankrupt you.

I bought the shortest version of this after watching a review on youtube. I got it to connect my Wiim streamer to a Rega io amp replacing the lead that came with the Wiim. I wasn't expecting much, so was careful when unpacking it as I firmly anticipated sending it back. Yowza!! The improvement in sound blew me away. I could hear details that I'd not heard before and the sound was just 'fuller', wider, deeper and just better. Honestly, if you played this to me and asked for £100 for the difference, I would be more than happy to pay. I'm not sponsored or connected in any way, and also I'll be buying another for my CD player.

I know some people say they don’t hear differences between RCA cables, but there are a few things they need to understand. Not every system is transparent enough to reveal these differences, not everyone has the same level of hearing sensitivity, and of course everyone’s ear anatomy is different. However, on the right system, the differences are undeniable – and these Primeda cables are simply outstanding. I’ve been listening to the Primeda cables in my setup: a Cambridge CXN v2 streamer connected via MIT 330 Shotgun RCA cables to a Cary SLP-74 tube preamp. From there, the Primeda cables link the Cary to a Conrad Johnson Sonographe SA150 power amp, which drives my Mirage M1 speakers with MIT AVT2 speaker cables. I compared them with many other cables, including Atlas Hyper, Monster Retro Gold Sigma (also excellent, but far more expensive), various Kimber and Chord models – and of course the Nordost Quattro Fil that a friend kindly lent me. All of them performed really well, and I don’t mean to diminish their qualities. But the fact that the Primeda cables play on the same level – and in many A/B tests even better – than cables costing many times more is just astonishing. The simple fact that they can outperform a cable that goes for around £1000 used makes them, in my opinion, the single greatest bargain in hi-fi one could possibly imagine. I’m very grateful for the recommendation I discovered on YouTube, and I sincerely wish the company continued success. I’ll be more than happy to test their future products.

Utilisé en sortie du préampli Cambridge Audio Duo et en entrée de l'ampli Yamaha R-N600A ce câble est parfait . Diamètre du conducteur suffisant pour 80w efficace ,câble blindé ,connecteurs dorés à l'or fin et câble souple . Rapport qualité/prix excellent . Rien ne sert de mettre plus d'argent car l'oreille si l'on est honnête ne verra pas de différence seul les appareils de mesure pro pourront indiquer une différence négligeable. Alors tout shuss sur ses câbles

En mis pruebas con imnumerables cables , estos les daría de las mejores puntuaciones a este precio. Comparados con cables como belden 8402 los cuales considero buenos, estos primeda en mi sistema han mostrado un balance más calido con algo más de cuerpo en voces y cuerdas aunque algo menos prominencia de frecuencias altas , que aunque presentes, recrean una sensación de mayor peso en graves y medios y agudos haciéndolos agradables fáciles de escuchar …. A mi gusto, unos cables realmente agradables que suponen una mejora importante con los cables básicos , e incluso mejores que cables mucho más caros. No son cables de referencia, pero agradables de escuchar. Recomendación sincera

Cavo sicuramente di buona qualità, all'aspetto è ben costruito, esteticamente il rivestimento esterno non mi fa impazzire, né per trama ma per colore, ma immagino siano gusti. Il suono è indubbiamente buono, timbricamente molto corretto. L'ho inserito in una catena Marantz con lettore SACD, in alternanza con cavi Audioquest e Airtech (italiani) dal costo tra il doppio e il triplo di questi Primeda, e devo dire che questi ultimi si difendono abbastanza bene. Il suono è un po' "mediocentrico", rispetto agli altri le voci ad esempio vengono portate più avanti, mentre c'è una più o meno evidente, a seconda delle registrazioni, attenuazione agli estremi banda. Soprattutto per quanto riguarda la gamma alta e altissima a dire il vero, infatti nel passaggio rapido tra i Primeda e i cavi di confronto si nota un evidente restringimento del soundstage, probabilmente dovuto alla mancanza di tutta una seire di microinformazioni di ambienza che si trovano di solito all'estremo acuto. All'estremo basso invece c'è un medio basso in buona presenza e sufficientemente articolato (i cavi di confronto fanno meglio) ma non spiacevole, mentre il basso profondo latita un po'. Sono comunque dotati di buona espressività, dinamica abbastanza ampia e di punch quando necessario, e pure la ricostruzione tridimensionale, anche in profondità, si mantiene su buoni livelli. I cavi di confronto fanno meglio quanto a fluidità e contenuto armonico del suono, ma questi Primeda non sono da buttar via. Sono un bel passo avanti rispetto a qualunque cavo stock fornito si solito con le apparecchiature, e se si ha una catena dal suono un po' brillante risolveranno il problema, ma non me la sentirei di definirli cavi "audiophile grade". Soprattutto mi meraviglia il recensore americano che li preferisce ad altri prodotti di caratura superiore. Forse nel suo impianto daranno buoni risultati, nel mio con casse KEF con caratteristiche monitor o ascolti in cuffia sia con dinamiche che con magneto-planari, non c'è modo per i Primeda di battere i cavi posti a confronto, seppure questi ultimi non siano costosissimi. Consigliabili? Sì come primo step successivo alla cavetteria "normale". Ammazzagiganti? Proprio no, pur avendo sicuramente una buona qualità ad un prezzo accattivante. Non andrei oltre le 4 stelle, ma ben meritate.
