I bought this item for a homemade wind turbine! It worked great was very affordable and fully waterproof. It got my windturbine built at a fraction of the cost of a commercially available turbine! I will defiantly be buying more for future turbines in a quest to go off grid.

I ordered this regulator to replace the one that came with the 400 watt Pikasola wind turbine! The original regulator burnt up in less than a week 🔥🔥…..I mounted it on my beach to do a test run before mounting the turbine on my sailboat…could have been really costly ⛵️🔥!! This new regulator has three operating lights instead of just the two that the original one had and seems to be doing a much better job of keeping my battery bank topped up! Delivery was fast ….less than 48 hours to my door…..Still waiting for Pikasola to contact me re: the faulty one that came originally with the turbine!!
