Lost the one that I had for years needed one in a pinch while on vacation in Florida. This one was the cheapest with decent ratings. I do agree it's great for the value came charged with batteries worked right out of the bag. You can do DC or AC which is nice. It has lots of different functions. Please make sure you read the owner's manual before sticking those electrics probes in things if you don't know what you're doing. It doesn't come with a carry case so I can't rate it on that, but it does seem accurate based on voltages. I tested it on and it is easy to read with large LCDs display. Definitely a good size for portability. Keeping it in your glove box or your car for quick issues is handy.
