FXC 2x 24W Flash Strobe Controller Flasher Module for LED Brake Light Tail Stop Light 12-30V

I've seen other people with these types of flashers and they are definitely more noticeable on the road compared to the unmofidified CHMSLs. The installation was a bit of a pain if only because there is no spare wire length along the harness, which you do have to cut, and my wire connectors were crap. It will help greatly to have a self-adjusting fancy wire stripper tool. Once I got the connections physically done, the module works perfectly. All the wires have to be connected in the right direction and polarity: +/-, and in/out. There was enough space in the hatch of a 2023+ Honda CR-V. The unit didn't seem to have double-sided tape but I didn't feel it was really needed in this particular install. I would hope this module will last the life of the car, but I will be checking frequently because I don't fully trust my own wiring work. Soldering would have been more secure. I will be ordering the next-gen butt-connectors from Amazon for future work. The 4-pack is a fantastic value since I will be using 3 right away on different vehicles.

I think this is one safety feature that should be on all vehicles.

Brake lights flash as advertised when 12 volts is applied. When 14 volts is applied, the brake lights do not flash and instead come on steady. I tried both modules from my order and they both exhibited the same issue. Also, the items I received did not match the item pictured; mine had different labels on them.

Fitted this to my motorbike's brake-tail light. Easy to fit and works perfectly. I feel this makes a real improvement to the brake light so other drivers are better able to see that I am braking. (If they don't have their heads in their phones!). Good value and recommended.

Great item to enhance safety while driving. I've installed these in 4 cars. The installation is straight forward...cut 2 wires and splice. Just be sure to install the correct way (look at the diagram for "in & out" wires and match the "out" in direction of the brake light.

I thought this would be an inexpensive and simple way to put a flashing break light on my motorcycle. Although it doesn’t come with instructions, with only two wires in, and two out, and only two wires on my bike, I thought it would be simple. Nay nay. I tried all the wire combinations, and neither module works.

Car is E-Class sedan 2018. Tried to use on 3rd brake light. Connecting in-line : it will flash when starting the engine (quick then slower) then be still for about 1 second then turn off. Light stays off afterward when braking. Connecting only red in-line, input and output black to separated ground : it will flash when starting the engine (quick then slower) then be still for about 1 second then dim to about 50% intensity. When braking afterward, light will turn on at about 50% intensity without flashing first. On the bench it worked perfectly fine. It certainly is the way MB system manages lights and everything. I uninstalled it.
