Great garlic scent and flavor.
Excellent to mix with other ingredients. Really lovely garlic scent and strong flavor on cooking. Quick alternative to garlic cloves and mixes very evenly in sauces. So far I’ve used it for roasting vegetables (mixed with oil first), stir-frying and marinating meat. Will be adding to casseroles and soups next.

Better consistency
Very nice, almost paste-like consistency, that blends in much better than others that are little tiny pieces that you end up biting into. Wonderful, fresh-tasting flavor.

taste the difference of California garlic
If you really like garlic, this is for you! I could smell the garlic through the delivery packaging. It is so good I use it in everything. Puts garlic powder to shame. This is what garlic is supposed to taste like

It was more expensive than the supermarket equivalent
It is coarser than I expected and I did not have my old container at hand when I ordered so was disappointed when the small jar arrived. Taste was fine.

Great Marinade
This crushed garlic makes a super marinade for lamb chops. We like it much better than minced garlic.

Listing ingredients left out allergen
Ingredient information is wrong on Amazon listing. For people with allergies, this is unfair. Especially since this is nonreturnable. Ingredients in listing says it contains only garlic. When it arrived, ingredients is garlic and citric acid. Citric acid is a corn derivative, and I am allergic to corn. I cant eat this, will have to give it away or throw it away.
