Full Range Speaker Units 6.5 Inch for DIY Audiophile Tube Amplifier F-6, Lot of 2 Units

I’ve recently discovered open baffle, and at this point I’ve simply purchased drivers and stuck them in a board. Running them full range with a separate subs taking care of frequencies below 100hz. One pair I bought are Visaton BG-20 in 18x36 boards, which sounds quite nice. Center of speaker at 26.5 inches from bottom. I don’t have measurements, etc. and I don’t have interest in going down that road yet. Then I purchased these Lii F6 and put them in 16x36 boards with center of speaker at 26.5 inch from bottom and they exceed the sound quality of my prior build. Excellent imaging, dynamics, subtleties, smoothness. This type of experimentation reminds me of my electrostatic speakers I had for a while, where almost all frequencies below 100hz need to be augmented by separate subwoofer(s), but the sound is quite amazing.

For a modest price you're achieving audiophile quality sound. Set them up properly and you will hear inside the music. I can't stop listening. I agree with all the good reviewers I read. I'm using an EL34 tube amp, and these sensitive speakers love it . (95db ?). After listening to these I've since ordered the LiiSong/LiiAudio Fast8s. for another project. Enjoy

I have a pair of AKG K712 pros. In one day I woke up an was tired of having to have headphones on every single time I was on the computer. 8 years of this. so I started looking around. My headphone kinda spoiled me I was worried nothing would sound as good as them. But then I came across these after looking up an doing some research on the brand I decided to give them a try. My headphones are open back. An I saw alot of people using these open baffle (no speaker box) like just mounted on a board. I haven't even mounted them to anything yet I just plugged them in 10mins ago In I was just shocked an had to write a review. I'm thinking about buying another pair an have already told 3 friends to. If your an audiophile type of person thats looking for a crisp clean bright reference sound buy there immediately you won't be sorry

Just threw them in boxes, and I am really enjoying them. One just has to understand there limitations. If you feed them music that's not too busy, at a modest volume, they sound amazing. I'm using them in a secondary system for a different sound signature, and they deliver. I'm feeding them with a DIY 30 watt per channel class ab intergraded amp/preamp and a great dac. My main system has more power and component speakers, that I use for metal and busier music. Old technology combined with innovative material and design, I love it. They're a steal for the price also. Happy listening.

Super clean, coherent sound. As others have stated, not for pounding music, but a 1.2 cuft enclosure has tight accurate bass down to about 70 hz. I ran them with a sub, but not crossed over...yet. I am going to try limiting the bass below 80 hz, with my mini Dsp. I'm expecting even cleaner, louder output when I am done. Stupid-good price! Grab them up!

I can not say enough about these speakers they're very responsive and sensitive. they need very little power need for great output, will buy them again...

Seem to sound ok, but need more than a small sealed bookshelf box to develop real bass, but that will not be necessary as I intend to use it as a midrange-tweeter since it does not really have the 'sparkling' high frequency, that I can barely hear, but it should work like a champ from 800hz to 14K where it will be running. Adding a small super tweeter like a planar should make an interesting and highly articulate and detailed three way. Certainly feels like a good deal for the low price and are better than average.

Incredible performance for price. Competitive with my KEF LS50s for engaging sound when in my home made baffle less frames. Wish this vendor offered more of the speakers from Lii Audio.

Las monté en unas cajas con el diseño sugerido en una de las imágenes y el sonido me ha sorprendido. Falta afinar un poco el relleno acústico, de lo que no encontré información del fabricante. Magnífica imagen estéreo, detalles que a veces sólo se aprecian con audífonos y más bajo del que esperaba... no añadiré un sub woofer. Pero vamos, quizá se eche algo en falta para música de órgano o películas de acción. En mi opinión excelentes para música coral, de orquesta, jazz y solistas.

Mande a hacer las cajas con dos de los diseñs que tiene indica el fabricante. Solo las he probado en una de ellas y suenan ufff conectadas a un amplificador valvular. Voy a comprar otro parpara tener unas en la sala y otras en mi cuarto. Un magnífico sonido y no les hace falta bajo si se ecualizar bien.
