ESR HaloLock Kickstand Wireless Charger

Nice gadget for people who already have USB-C charger and cable but don't want to buy additional mag-safe charger. Works great and the magnetic is decently strong.

I got to say I am a really big ESR fan. They are always my number one 3rd party manufacturer. I have at least one ESR product per Apple device. AirPods Pro, iPad Pro 11 and 12.9, iPhone 14 pro max, iPad mini 6. The only one that’s doesn’t have esr gear is my mpb. Anyway, this charger is really great. Yes it only charges at 7.5w vs apples 15. That is not ESRs fault. That is an Apple limitation. I have 3 Apple MagSafe pucks and honestly even tho it’s half the wattage it doesn’t seem slow. I haven’t got around to doing a test tho, but I will. For half the price you are getting a solid built aluminum charger with a kickstand that comes in handy, a detachable cable, and a 5 foot cable included. That is my biggest gripe with the Apple charger. The cable is too short. And since it’s built in there’s not much you can do. Also since it’s built in if the cable gets destroyed somehow then the whole product is toast. That and the cost is what led me to try this Esr. In all honesty the 7.5w limitation has always put me off of 3rd party ones. I bought my first Apple MagSafe charger at launch when they first released with my iPhone 12 Pro. Haven’t used any other brands until recently. Give this a go. It’s not super slow, it’s great build quality, it’s inexpensive, it has a kickstand and detachable cable. Can’t go wrong.

Pros: Aesthetic Has a kickstand Cons: Gets uncomfortably hot Does not charge non magsafe devices (earbuds in the case) Magnet is not strong enough to center itself on ring (may be a limitation of wireless charger, esr ring stand stays on stronger) It won't charge my galaxy buds I left my phone charging overnight and it did not charge all the way. It was at 74% and the charger was hot. I believe the charger overheated and stayed hot so it was unable to charge my phone. Regular use it gets uncomfortably hot so I don't want to touch the charger when I pick it up after charging for a while. Maybe this is partially due to fast charging but who wants to wait like 3 hours for a full charge? Maybe iphones have no issues and my mistake was using this charger with my Samsung device but I cannot recommend this charger with my experience. UPDATE: After speaking with their customer service we were unable to resolve the issues I had and marked it up to my device not necessarily being compatible. I was offered a refund over a replacement since they do not recommend for my device unfortunately. I want to reiterate that maybe rapid wireless charging just isn't for my phone, or the charger is really just more optimized for an iPhone. I have an ear metal ring for mag safe compatibility on my case and a ring stand attached and they are great products so for iPhone users I'd still suggest this product as esr products do seem to be quality made. I bumped up to 4 stars because they're customer service was excellent but again, esr products have been good so I'll chalk it up to my circumstance not being great here.

Set includes a USB to USB C adapter, a cable, and the base. It’s all 18w rated which enables super fast charging on iPhone 16Pro. Great price and works great.

I've used Anker MagSafe, Apple MagSafe, and other 3-in-1 chargers with MagSafe charger built-in, this is the best charger if you only consider charging an iPhone. Other chargers using MagSafe overheat. Anker products tend to overheat a lot more in my opinion. This product does heat up but it's nothing bothersome to touch. The kickstand is great for using the device while charging. Apple MagSafe charger just lays on the table. The removable USB-C cable from the charging puck is fairly useful since you can charge other devices! I don't know why some manufacturers don't do this, when you need to charge your battery pack or tablet with USB-C, you just unplug the charging puck from the cable and plug in the device you want to charge.

Because I carry 2 phones with 2 different types of chargers I was looking for something travel size that could unplug. The puck with the kickstand was perfect for traveling. Design wise it is very sleek and fits really well in pockets. My only concern and probably reason why I would be returning it is the back of the puck gets really hot and I mean really hot. I would be worried about burning the table I put the puck on because of how hot it gets. I'm not sure if this is because the phone is trying to draw more power than the puck can provide or what but I would be concerned of starting a fire.

Cargador muy cómodo y practico, tanto si quieres usarlo con el móvil en la mano tanto con su pequeño pie para utilizarlo de "base". El imán funciona perfecto. Otro detalle a destacar, viene con un cable USB-C por ambos lados y un adaptador pequeño por si necesitas usar USB-A. El único defecto que le puedo sacar es que se calienta un poco, pero como todos los de su tipo.

The magnet is strong and the kickstand is sturdy as described. Very well-designed product with great quality. Will definitely buy from ESR again.

J’ai acheté ce produit plus pour la fonction de support que pour la charge, mais au final, j’apprécie beaucoup la fonction chargeur. Le produit est très bien fini, fin et discret. Il ne gêne pas lorsqu’on a le téléphone en main. La béquille tient parfaitement le téléphone et le support s’oriente et se détache super facilement une fois en place.
