Excellent product item exactly as pictured
Love the look of this small but mighty product. Setup was fast and easy. When you purchase the system without subscription you will not have full alarm functionality only chimes with text or email notifications. During the set up you should receive a notice that an email can be sent regarding service plans. Make sure you activate service through that email so you don't have to purchase unnecessary or duplicate products. I recommend this product for studio apartments or smaller homes. I also like the male voice announcements with full functionality. Awesome product.

Great alarm system
This kit integrates well into the Wyze home network. The monitoring prices are reasonable. We already set off the alarm and I can tell you this company contacts you faster than any other company I have ever had contact me for alarm monitoring. I also added a bunch of other door/window sensors with this unit, and had no problem programing everything per the instructions. Just make sure you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz network. This system also integrates properly with Alexa or Google, and we have had no problems with that. I would definitely recommend this alarm system to anyone looking for one.

Disaster from Installation to Sensors to Monitor Company
Never wanted to have a negative or avoid or dislike option...until now. I have been using WYZE cameras for years - so I thought maybe they will produce an inexpensive alarm system. WRONG! Summary of issues: 1) Installation - Door Sensor - design failure and no extra sticky material provided. They only provide the pressure sensor attachment, unlike other alarm systems that include an optional plastic holder with screws. Door molding prevented installation level, stuck it to the molding - the door caught the sensor - so had to try to install again. But tape would not stick again - and no extra provided. So now I have a sensor dangling, might fall off and setoff alarm by accident. No optional plastic holder was provided that would allow sturdy screw installation. (Simplisafe describes EXACTLY what should be designed - read WYZE designers!) 2) Installation - Hub - Reset button. Not sure if WYZE has bugs in firmware, but if you accidently touch for 1 second the reset button which is raised on back. You have to delete all devices and setup again. Attempted to contact HELP, but unavailable for 3 days due to Rai typhoon. Found blog, followed suggestion to hold reset for 13 seconds - did not solve, had to delete and re-setup all devices 3) Motion Sensor - Cheap and useless. Unless you have no windows with zero sunlight, throw this away. Set on Lowest sensitivity, with shades down and on sunny day, triggers motion sensor incorrectly every 5 minutes. 4) Alarm company - Issue 1 - Does not provide Caller ID or what number will contact you So when they call you - you have no idea if it is a telemarketer or company - shows up just as a foreign number 5) Alarm company - Issue 2 - Does not provide details of WHO they will contact in the event of an emergency - just you are "all set" Well guess what idiots, my house has a local township and you called the STATE Police!! No where in app or 6) Alarm company - Issue 3 - You can NOT call the foreign alarm system spams call number BACK - it is only outgoing. You ONLY can disable alarm is from App. AND though app tells you it is disarmed and you are "All Set" guess what, they did NOT cancel. So I ended up with alarm company with random number calling me, they did leave message, I attempted to call back, unable, 2 minutes after alarm went off, I disabled from app. But they did not cancel and they are contacting the WRONG jurisdiction. Waiting for a bill in the mail I wish i never purchased a product from a company that has NO business or understanding of what a security system is to be designed or proper procedures.

Exceeds expectations
Let me start by saying this is very user friendly super easy to setup even if you are not tech savvy! The app walks you through setup AND IT COMES WITH BATTERIES! I usually wait months to do reviews on products because I want to be sure I have used it a good bit to ensure I’m giving a fair and honest review on the quality of the product but I have many Wyze products mainly cameras several of which I’ve had for many years so I feel confident in saying that this product is made with the same quality. This product is affordable, looks very nice, and was made with quality materials. I’m so excited about this alarm system . It has So many features and ways you can modify alarm settings. If you are looking for a good quality alarm system that’s affordable then look no further oh also the monitoring monthly service is low! This also came with 3 months free service

Home Monitoring Does Not Work On App, REPAIRED
Used for a few months, Wyze did some firmware updates, now when you open app, press monitor tab… white screen of death! Reloaded app, ran setup all over, after setup it works but once you close the app it’s broken again. Reopen app and press monitor tab, white screen of death. So frustrating, their tech support does not know how to resolve this because it’s an software issue. Worked fine, the the update broke it. Totally frustrating, i’m out $100! It’s all over the internet that it’s broken, just fix it please! Dec 16 update, Sense Hub firmware has an update. Monitor Tab still only works once after setup and until you close the app. Dec. 28 update, app update just released, app fixed. The real question is why did it take them so long? Two months is a long time waiting for your home security app to work again! My take away is the entire Wyze company is in Beta, their products are fine but they don’t really have the programmers and infrastructure to maintain things in a reasonable amount of time. Buyer beware, i’m gonna stick it out with them for now. Mar. 10 Still working fine, updates coming (and working) on a regular basis now.

Love Wyze, cameras now alarm system installation so easy my husband could do it, camera quality outstanding picture clear cantybeat the value I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS 1000 %

Simple, easy to install system
I already had several Wyze cameras so it was super easy to set up these devices in the app. Was worried about the entry sensors working since my doors are old and do not close evenly. They work great so far! Will be setting up the professional monitoring soon.

DO NOT BUY! Products stop working & Terrible customer service
I’ve been using this company’s products for years, at first they had great customer service but now they never seem to be able to resolve technical issues and just leave you hanging with no resolution. If you’re considering buying this system, be aware that the monitoring plan states that your cameras will have all the same feature as their Cam Plus service, such as package, person, pet & vehicle notifications. But, it does not and when you try to resolve the issue with customer service, they just tell you to go through all of the steps of resetting things, making sure firmware and app is up to date and when that doesn’t fix the issue, they just email you back and tell you to keep your app and firmware up to date (mine are and always have been). I even suggested they add Cam Plus at no charge to my account until they resolved the issue and they declined. Also, in the events tab, there is only a photo of an event but no recording to see what the event actually was. But it does take you to a page to sign up for Cam Plus to get those features (which are supposed to already be included in the home monitoring plan). I will be changing to another company for my camera and security system needs. I am updating my review to add that my home monitoring system has gone offline now and after hours of research & going through all of their suggestions, I’ve determined that the internal backup battery inside the Hub has stopped working (even thought I’ve always kept it plugged into the power source) and because of that there is no way to reconnect this system back online, as the reset button will no longer give me the “ready to connect” sound. Customer service once again is horrible. I’ve both called them and chatted online and they just say their specialist will email me to resolve the issue, yet I never get an email. It’s still under warranty and I cannot get anyone to send a replacement. Apparently the people that you are able to reach don’t have that authority and only the specialist can do that and you must rely solely on them contacting you back via email. I found about that MANY others have this exact issue when I went onto their forum. Save yourself the hassle and money and DO NOT PURCHASE ANY WYZE PRODUCTS!! When they first started customer service was great, but after they got a hugely funded investment for new products, they sourced all of their customer service to some foreign country that never resolved the issues. SCAM!
