Transcend TS64GMSA230S 64GB mSATA 2,5" SSD 230S SATA III 6Gb/s interface, Silver

Mine is an older model of Toshiba Laptop. We tried and failed to get it from local market due its peculiar shape. We found it from UK, through Amzaon; lest my laptop would have remained defunct even today. From experts, I understood that Transcend is one among the best brands with a very reasonable price. I am completely satisfied with this product and my laptop is now working fine. Transcend saved me from buying a new laptop!!!!

Received the item earlier than delivery date. Installed in my X220 laptop, installed win10pro. Amazed with Windows booting time reduced to 36sec, before its taking 2mins.

Have used this TRANSCEND TS128GMSA230S SSD with a no-name brand, (TrotWei Blue, if you must know) 44-pin IDE male to mSATA mini PCI-E female adaptor to serve as the internal boot drive of a COMPAQ M2220AP laptop. With or without the SSD, the maximum Z-height of the adaptor is 6mm (the internal HDD cavity for this model of laptop has a maximum allowable Z-height of 9·5mm). The SSD appears to work well with the adaptor and the laptop can boot as per normal. The SSD does seem to get uncomfortably hot when actively reading/writing, so those who are inclined to use laptop keyboards, or those who literally place the laptop on their laps should take note accordingly.
