Digi-Code 5010 Garage Door Opener Transmitter

Working great.

- If you have a community that uses these transmitters, then this is a great deal. Most communities want you to buy from them at $50.00 - Next to the battery it has the 10 switch settings that are easy to change. - If you have a gate opener at your community and you have used this one the Digi-Code 5012 will not work because you cannot change the setting on the gate itself. I thought they were interchangable like advertised, so I had to buy the Digi Code 5010 to replace my old one. - These Digi-Code 5010 and 5012 should be interchangable if you have a garage door you will be using this on as long as you can change the setting on the garage door motor. - Rememeber the 5010 and 5012 work on two different Hrtz. 5010 is 300hrtz and the 5012 is 310hrtz.

This worked great once I got out a magnifying glass and saw that the dip switch board was installed upside down compared to my original.

I bought this as an extra gate (not garage door) opener to keep in the house. It works just like the original that came with the gate opener. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to others. Digi-Code 5010 Garage Door Opener Transmitter

Recently moved into a house with an electric gate. The previous owners didn't leave the remotes. This was simple to set the code on the switches and sync to my gate. Also used it to program the homelink buttons in my truck. My gate is about 250ft away from the house and it works from the porch. No regrets and I will probably buy another one.

This transmitter was super easy to set. It's not too big or too small but it only has one button so if you want it to open more than one location, such as your community gages AND your garage, you're out of luck. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase a remote with more features.

It worked for a few months and after that it just stopped working. The red LED is on but the garage door does not open at all any more. I realized that range was getting shorter time by time, I suspect the radio emission circuit was broken. It is very disappointing. It's funny, I bought two sets and another one is working so far. It seems like a lottery.

Needed a new remote for the garage all I had to do was set the 10 digit pin and bam it was perfect I did also buy the 5012 remote it sadly did not work I guess they are too different sadly I liked the different color
