Thick socks for my hard playing boys (9 and 12 ...
Thick socks for my hard playing boys (9 and 12 yrs old). Fit as intended, ankle socks. My boys wear a lot of shorts, even in fall....so ankle socks are a must. They are durable and have lasted 6 months and going. My only ding is I wish they were all the same color. My boys don't always grab the match and wear mismatch socks. Not the end of the world...

Very happy with quality and size
I have a size 9 Shoe and I’m no kid. All my life I bought men’s socks that are size 10-12 (typical size) and the heal is always up toward my ancle. These socks actually fit where my heal is! So I tell my wife I’m putting on my big boy socks today for a laugh! Very happy with quality and size. I will buy more as I need to replace them.

These are for Kindergarten - 2nd grade sizes, hope that helps!
"Fit as hoped"Figuring out which socks to order was a challenge. After your kiddo grows over the toddler sizes, it becomes challenging to figure out from the size charts offered on these product listing. It would be helpful if it were acknowledged children's shoe sizes "start over" when they graduate from pre-school sizes to youth sizes, to adult sizes.Anyway, my son will be 6 years old next month. He wears a size 13.5 child to size 1 youth (going off Nike shoe sizes here). If he were any smaller these would be too big.The packaging says for shoe size 9 - 2.5. IMO there is no way this sock would be appropriate for a toddler wearing a size 9C, considering a 6 yr old wearing a 1Y, just fits into them.Anyway, they're very soft and cushioned. The heel is where it is supposed to be, and they are at his ankle described per the packaging.I always try and buy multiple packs of the same socks so I am not trying to find the correct mate to a million dif. colored socks. Unfortunately, these do have some coloring instead of being a solid color, but I knew that going in. I posted a photo below showing the size in ratio to my hand and the coloring variations used. One tip, make sure you take the time to cut the plastic tab holding the socks to the packaging, it is very tight!. I ripped a hole in one sock just by popping tags like I normally would. Went and got the scissors after that. Now that I know what size actually fits, I would repurchase these again and I will look to purchase some "no show" socks for summer.

Great Socks! Sizes are inflated tho...
Note: Sizing is small. If you want socks for a 4 year old, I doubt these will work. We got these socks for our three (3) MONTH old baby boy after utter disappointment with the socks listed for his age were were way too small (I reviewed them earlier). Our 3 month old weighs 19lbs, which is a little on the heavier side, and these socks are perfect with a little room to grow. They're snug, but not tight, and they don't constrict his toes. They are heavy cotton, and being all the same color means we don't have to play the match game. We're hoping these last until he's at least 6 months old :-)

Perfect for single parents tired of having to match socks..
So, yeah, I'm a single dad of a 10 month old little girl who really hates having stuff on her feet. So I got her these. She still pulls them off and chews on the sock, but she does it less often than she did with the little girl socks. And, since these are all the same, I get to spend time with my daughter instead of playing "match the stupid pattern" game. The socks are fairly thick, and of good quality. Seriously, if you would rather spend time with your child instead of with their laundry, get these socks and make your life simpler.

Comfortable and perfect fit
My 5 year old son is very picky about his socks (as was I growing up, so I get this). I have done extensive research to find the “perfect” pair for him for play at daycare, school, and for any other activity/daily wear. He doesn’t like high socks and prefers them to just cover his ankles. He also doesn’t like low socks (they tend to fall down on active boys). They are soft textured on the inside with no bumps or seams to worry about. These socks are perfect and true to size. My son usually removes his sneakers AND his socks when he comes into the house, but these socks, he keeps on, which is a first! They are that comfortable.

Fit great! Look adorable.
My boys just began to wear a toddler size 8 shoes. Since they are at the top of the sizing scale, I wasn't sure what to order, but I decided to order the small socks based on the reviews that I read. They fit perfectly.I was in search of thicker socks, because my boys just began wearing Converse shoes and their heels seemed a little small for the shoes, but we needed the size 8 for the length. They were wearing the Circo (generic) socks. One of my sons had sores on the back of his heel after the first day of wearing the shoes with the generic socks, but has not had any sores since wearing the Hanes socks.I love that they have socks like mine. My husband wears Hanes socks, but they are black. I would love it, if the boys had socks like their dad's, but the black socks wouldn't look right with their black shoes. They look so sweet in their big boy socks. I love it!

Not just for Boys - Great for guys with smaller feet!
My husband has size 8 feet and buying him traditional mens socks have always resulted in the heel of the sock up on his ankle. After all those socks are sized for sizes 6-12, what do you expect when the range is that high? He has never been happy with this. So when I asked him what he wanted for fathers day, he said socks that fit. After looking at mens socks and not finding anything in smaller sizes I went to the boys socks, and found these size Large is 3-9 still a 6 size range but the high end is near his foot size. I decided to go ahead and buy him a bag and see if they fit. Guess what, they are still a bit on the large size but they fit SO MUCH BETTER. The heel is actually where the heel is supposed to be! Its amazing, and he is thrilled with his present. He mocks himself for needing boys socks but if the sock fits...
