Just what I needed!
I bought a Vanguard tripod from the Goodwill for 3 dollars. The quick release plate was the only thing missing from it. After some research, I bought this and it fits perfectly!

They work exactly as expected
I have had my Vanguard Tripod for about 16 years and it has been a great tripod. I bought more quick shoes to put on my other stuff so I don't have to take it off and on again. They are good quality quick shoes and camera equipment. Very easy to use. These also come with a thumb-bail so you don't have to have a nickel or a screwdriver.

Quick shoe works great
I had found a bargain old Vanguard tripod that I think was meant for traveling. Needless to say it didn't come with the quickshoe to attach your camera to the tripod. I ordered this quickshoe after some searching on the Vanguard website to try to figure out which tripod model it was to get the right quickshoe plate for the tripod. After much searching I was pretty certain that this was the one. I tried it on the tripod and voila! Snaps right in place and holds your camera securely (even if the tripod isn't one of Vanguard's top models). Great replacement part and the quality that you expect from Vanguard.

it does not fit all as advertised ,mine needs a 3"x1 3/4 plate, a p 30 plate

La pieza es exacta, llegó en un empaque sencillo pero tampoco requería mayor presentacion, la calidad es excelente y su funcionamiento como los materiales no decepcionan en absolutamente nada. Lo recomiendo si es lo que necesitan.
