This book is one of my son’s favourites. He’s almost 2. It’s so sweet and great to read with Dad. Lots of animals to point out. The illustration is beautiful. Great Father’s Day gift or gift for a new father to be. Large font for older kids to follow along.

Kids like stories. Not a bunch of short 4 liner poems. This is just a book with a different poem and a picture on each page. Quite boring. The language is also difficult for kids to understand.

This book is heart-warming, and it is something my 5 year old son asks me to read to him constantly. If you want something that will get you by the heart-strings this is it. It opens the door to conversations with your kids about how and why you love them, and for them to do the same with you.
