Amazon Essentials Women's Fit and Flare Half-Sleeve Waisted Midi A-Line Dress with Pockets

This is one of my favorite dresses! I love the soft, flowy fabric, the length, the cute sleeves, and the placement of the waist tie. I am 5' 2", about 125 lbs, usually wear a small, and the small fits perfectly. It washes well and can be worn with a scarf, boots, sandals, heels, sneakers, a cardigan, or jean jacket, and all kinds of jewelry to suit your style. Beautiful and flattering!

I wore this to a church function and I received many compliments! This is the perfect summer dress for that type of occasion. The dress is not too form fitting and it still gives you a feminine shape. It is simple & casual, but also elegant & classy. You can dress it up or down! I wore it with nude open toe sandals and I think it looked nice. You could also pair it easily with cute sneakers or your favorite Converse! ( I bought the dress in blue denim too & paired it with my maroon Converse and it was a super cute combo! ) I did order this dress in a large originally, but it was a bit too big & frumpy looking. I returned for a medium, which fits much better. The material is fairly lightweight and suited for summer. I believe the material was thick enough, offering good coverage and it was not see through. I did wear a slip but I don't think it's necessary.

Flattering fit, soft smooth material, not see through but still light enough to be worn in Spring and Summer, comfortable. The color is simply stated as yellow, which I hoped it would be. It is chartreuse, a bright greenish yellow. A fun color that looks pretty bad on me so this will have to be exchanged. If you have medium to dark skin this would look great on you.

I am 5'8 and weighed around 180lb when I got this dress (I ordered a large) I am now around 200lb (pregnant). It still fits! The tie in the front is cute. The material is breathable and good quality. I love the pockets! My only complaint would be that there is some gapping in the buttons so that could be a problem for larger chested women. I am normally a 34 C and don't think it would gap for my normal cup size however being pregnant has me in larger cup size so more gapping. I think this could be an easy fix though. I do feel like the dress is a little shorter then advertised but being pregnant would affect that as well. It has made a great maternity dress and I plan to use it when I am breast feeding as well.

Fabric is soft and flowy but somewhat translucent to light and nice color; pattern is okay but stripes are wider/thicker than expected. Sizing is NOT very accurate. I am 5ft8, 145# slim/athletic build and medium is my suggested size. According to Amazon's size chart and my measurements (I'm a sewing hobbyist), this dress should have fit better but even with chest darts it's loose and baggy at the bust, sleeves and waist; I tried tightening with the drawstring but it's hard to work through the string casing so I will likely replace with a matching ribbon or smaller drawstring. The seams are well-sewn and finished. The sleeves end just above my elbows and are loose around the cuffs. The length is okay and hits me at upper mid-calf but I'm tall and have long legs. I will have to measure the dress and take it in at the appropriate places and alter the sleeve length/fit. Not a horrible dress by any means and the best part is the roomy hidden pockets but be prepared in case the fit is unexpected for your recommended size.

I love this dress! The fit is super flattering, the fabric feels great, and the quality is exactly what I’ve come to expect from Amazon Essentials. It’s one of those easy, go-to pieces you can dress up with heels or keep casual with sandals. There is not a lot of stretch in the fabric and the fabric is soft without feeling like it is going to be ruined after a few washes. Perfect length, great value, and so comfortable — I have bought it 4 colors!

This dress is a nice mid-weight material that should be comfortable for spring through early fall depending on where you live. I originally ordered a medium as Amazon suggested but found it too tight in the bust. For reference, I am about 5'5" and 150 lbs. but have a hourglass, curvy shape with a D -cup. The top part fit but would have required a pin to two for safety. The large was a more comfortable fit with no gaping. I hand washed on cold and laid it flat to dry. I did not notice significant shrinkage in length or overall size. Be aware that this is viscose and requires a cool iron after washing! Overall, it is a comfortable every day dress for work that could be dressed up depending on shoes/accessories. I really like the overall style and am ordering a different color.

Cons: I love dresses and wear them almost daily, but this dress didn't fit the mark for me. I'm 5'3" and 127 lbs. I didn't feel like this was a flattering fit for my height and slimmer shape. I purchased a size small and it was a little saggy everywhere. Because it's a button down, the material gaped open between the holes, which was very immodest and would require wearing clothes underneath or sewing up the gaps. Because I'm shorter, this dress also was way too long on me. I'd recommend for a taller individual. The cinch around the waist is very fragile, and I could see the string fraying after a few washes. It doesn't help much with drawing in the waist. I also purchased the dress in hopes of pairing it with a belt, and there wasn't a way to hide the drawstring between the buttons or behind the belt in a way that was flattering and clean. Neutral: I did return this, so I can't speak to the washability or durability over time. Pros: It is lightweight, so would be perfect for hotter climates. The dress does have detail that is appealing--the collared sleeves, pockets, etc. So it does make the dress a little more stylish if it does fit you.

BONITO VESTIDO, FRESCO Y COMODO

I have to admit I did not have high hopes making my very first Amazon essentials purchase. Boy was I pleasantly surprised !!! This is an absolutely gorgeous dress, it has exceeding my expectations tremendously. It’s made of a soft gorgeous flowy material and the dress itself is so flattering. My upper arms are a bit big from my lipedema and I usually have trouble getting short sleeves that fit comfortably around my arms but these sleeves are perfect. The back of the dress has an elasticTed waist but there is a drawstring at the front for you to take in more or make looser depending on your preference. The length of the dress is PERFECT for me. It’s stylish, cute, and is perfect for summer. You could even layer this up with a denim jacket and some boots for the fall. Super versatile. I loved it so much I just ordered another one in a different colour. I’m a 12/14 in the uk and the size medium was perfect for me. Don’t even give it a second thought. Order this dress NOW !!

Conforme à la description. Tissu non transparent et qui tombe bien. La viscose est très douce et agréable à porter quand il fait chaud. La robe taille bien la taille indiquée pour ma part un 46. Porté un peu ample, longueur et dimensions des manches très confortables pour les personnes âgées. La longueur à mi mollet est parfaite. J'ai acheté un joli collier fantaisie argent et bleu clair c'est parfait !
