Well I got this because I'll getting too hot at night as the weather warms and I swore I would do anything to avoid buying more polyester and other plastics because I have asthma and you breathe that stuff if you clothe yourself with it. At any rate, this isn't "bamboo" but rayon, which is made with chemicals... from bamboo. So... uhhh... yeah it's rayon. Anyway, it BREATHES unlike polyester so while it's not air-conditioned clothing or anything, it IS more breathable in the spring/summer and will not trap in heat and make you sweat. The evaporative cooling of your own sweat will work through this fabric because it allows air frow through it. Put a fan near you and the air current will pass through, not bounce off of it. It's attractive, and reasonably thick, not a super thin blanket for the tropics, but not a suffocating winter blanket. I would say just right for temperate spring or summer weather but time will tell when it gets to the 80 degree nights. Very attractive, seems quality stitching, and soft. However, wash before using as there is a lot of chemical residue and nylon particulate and it will probably set off any allergies to chemicals. It comes with washing net bags for your washing machine to prevent damage if you are concerned about that. It's not recommended to dry on high heat but it's a cheap blanket for me to wear every night for years, I'm not trying to put on a show and don't care if it falls apart over 10 years. So yeah, I'm drying on high head and don't care if it shrinks because I'm one guy sleeping on a recliner and it's Queen size. It's slippery material but not as bad as satin which I cannot stand. Silk would be better and real bamboo would be better (bamboo is KING, I use it for underwear, and the most comfortable sheets I ever used in my life were bamboo), but if you want something cheaper this will do nicely. For reference a silk blend shirt costs as much as this entire blanket as does a pack of bamboo shirts or underwear. It's a great product for the price.

It is a very soft and lightweight blanket, which is what I wanted but I’m giving it 4/5 stars because it is too small! 90x90 may seem like a good size for a queen bed but it barely hangs over the edges of the mattress so if you toss and turn like I do all night it’s going to be frustrating that you can’t pull it all over with yourself.

This is honestly the only cooling blanket that I feel actually cools. I like it. Can cover up with it and it still barely feels like you have a blanket on. I sleep hot and this is terrific. Let's heat out but still provides some warmth. Its surprisingly a heavy blanket but once its spread out and over you its barely even noticeable. Breathable and super soft. I like this one.

I just received this "cooling" blanket, tried it, and IT IS NOT COOL AT ALL, neither to the touch nor when I use it. It's just a regular thin blanket. If you want something "cool", look somewhere else, this won't do. However, I do like the blanket itself because it is large, lightweight, and keeps me slightly warm (not cool), so I will keep it. But again, don't buy it if you want it to keep you cool, it's not working. Maybe some blankets do, according to customer reviews who said it works, but the one I received will just keep me cozy warm on a cool fall or winter day on the couch.

I bought this blanket 3 years ago, but I'm back to get another one so thought I'd leave a review for the first one. I absolutely love this blanket. Yes, it gets snags/pulls and it shrinks if you dry it, but it feels so wonderful. I tried a couple of other brands of bamboo blankets and they did the same, so I was prepared and ordered a King for my Double/Full size bed. I will say I dried it on low every time but over the years, it has still shrunk to the size of probably slightly larger than a Twin. It is still long enough to cover my whole body, which the previous brands were not after shrinking. I do think if I didn't dry it, it wouldn't have shrunk up as much, but I didn't really want to find a place to air dry a huge blanket. This one is also thinner, lighter weight, and more breathable than the other bamboo blankets I tried and it has sort of a silky feel. I usually go to bed needing a blanket and then throwing it off and on several times during the night. With this one, I might pull it back once and not every night. Much better sleep quality. After trying to switch back to a cotton waffle blanket, and waking up sweating again, I've decided to just buy 2 of the smaller blankets and will try not to dry them.

sounded like a nice blanket until it didn't show up. Would have been understandable if the company was terrible to deal with afterwards.

While this is cooler than a cotton blanket I still got warm on the hottest nights, I think due to it being a knitted fabric..a more open weave may make it cooler, coupled with a ceiling fan over the bed. But it is quite nice just not quite as cooling as I hoped. I ended up using a viscose bed sheet only for hottest nights during heatwave with no ac. I washed the blanket with warm not hot water and hung to dry and it washed well.

Bought another blanket. Quality is excellent and product meets my expectations and description is spot on! 100% recommended and I will surely be purchase more in different sizes.

Ich bin sehr beeindruckt von der tollen Qualität dieser Decke. Sie fühlt sich sehr weich an und es ist ein tolles Gefühl auf der Haut. Das Schlafzimmer ist warm, aber mir nicht, weil ich die ganze Nacht kühl gehalten wurde. Ein wunderbares Gefühl. Und die leichte Schwere der Decke gibt ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit. Ich gebe eine klare Kaufempfehlung und werde sicher noch eine weitere bestellen.

Sheds and snags really badly. Such a shame because by the time I found out, I couldn't return it! Wouldn't buy again.
