What is the difference between the 520, 530 and 540? Which one is superior and why.

They are all models within Schiek's Platinum Series of gloves. The 520 models in black and pink are cut smaller to better fit a woman's hand, as is the pink version of the 540. The 530 model and black 540 model are larger fitting for a man's hand. The 520 and 530 models have a short hook and loop closure along the top of the wrist. The 540 models have a longer strap that can be wrapped around the wrist fully for additional support. The rest of the glove construction and material is similar across all Platinum models.

What size is a 8 1/2" - 9 "?

Take the measurement around your hand at the top of your Palm, below your finger joints. That will be the size you need to order.

do the gloves run large?

I belive they run true to size in terms of a men's glove. I am a woman and ordered a size small and am happy with them, the fit snug, but not too snug. I typically would not order anything "small" in women's as I am 5'10" tall, average/athletic build and have hands that are proportionate to my body size (not big like a mans, but not small like a shorter woman's). My husband is 6' with a typical size hand and the large fits great for him. I would definitely recommend these as they are easy to remove (the fins are awesome) and offer great wrist stabilization, which I could not seem to find in a women's training glove.

Where can I find the size chart?

To find the right size, measure around your hand across the center of the palm and use the following recommendations. X-Small: 6-7" / Small: 7-8" / Medium: 8-9" / Large: 9-10" / X-Large: 10-11" / XXL: 11-12" you want them to be a bit tight, they will stretch out.
