Gives lasting hard finish
I have tried several products and this one produces the best results. Others I have tried give a much softer surface that cannot take everyday use. Other are epoxies that are hard but do not seem to last long. This product is hard and it lasts. It is easy to use with the attached paint brush in the cap and it usually needs several coats. It is very important to thoroughly clean the area to remove all soaps, scum and hard water deposits. If you miss the surface preparation then you are just wasting your time. Some repairs may need sanding with 1000 then 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper (available in auto parts stores). Only sand the areas that will be or have been painted and this is usually the tricky part.

Wonderful product. Works as advertised.
I have a white enamel-over-steel kitchen sink that has some chips and some deeper pits with rust. For the deeper pits, I use a dremel until I see the clear steel, then use the Sheffield Porcelain Filler first, then top it off with the touch-up. For the shallower chips, I use just the touch-up, after some 120 grit sandpaper and alcohol to clean it up. It works great. Make sure to let it dry well. The tough-up is really white, so in my case, you can see the repairs, but I find that is acceptable, and over time, it tends to blends in better. I am absolutely happy with this product.

Works Good
I bought this product after reading tons of reviews here on Amazon. It arrived quickly and was packaged fine. I bought it to touch-up a rusting spot around the bathtub toggle plate. It worked well to cover the rust and black chipped area. The smell was not so bad really. I do not have any windows in this bathroom but did turn the exhaust fan on. My suggestion would be to wear gloves. Also, the paint is runny then I thought it would be so it dripped into the tub a few times. I had to use nail polisher remover to get the paint off of the drain cover and my hands. Lovely, tons of chemicals on my skin. If I need a second coat, I will wear gloves. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, I am thrilled with how much better by tub looks. It matched pretty well with the rest of my tub. Thanks for shipping this so quickly and at an affordable price. Update: It is wearing well and keeping the rust covered and looks soooo much better.

Covers chips but not perfect
Covers chips but not perfect I picked up this porcelain touch-up paint hoping it would make small chips and scratches on my sink and tub disappear. It does cover the bare spots, and once it dries the white blends reasonably well with most standard bathroom fixtures. The included brush makes it easy to dab on, though it can go on a bit thick and take a while to fully cure. That said, it’s not a flawless repair. Up close you can still see where the chip was, and the sheen isn’t a perfect match—it dries a bit more glossy than some porcelain surfaces. Also, it’s only good for tiny touch-ups, not anything larger than a pea-sized chip. Bottom line: Works for covering and protecting small porcelain chips, but don’t expect a seamless, invisible repair.

If your face was cracked, you'd fill it, not replace it.
I thought long and hard about spending the $20ish on this item. Why? Well, there are a bunch of people that complained about this product not matching their exact sink color or the fact that when looking at it up close, you could tell that they'd filled it, even when it did match. There were calls of speculation as to its waterproofing ability and other items that I just can't even get into. You know what I will get into? Cracks. If you have a fine line on your face, you fill it using some kind of serum (Perricone MD's Brightening Amine Face Lift is my favorite right now, but I also love Erno Lazslo's Timeless Skin). You'd take that serum and apply to your skin and it will smooth out that fine line. Now, it's not going to get rid of it. Over time, it's going to smooth it out more and more and prevent further creasing. And that's great. You caused some slight damage to your skin, probably by smiling at idiots way too much at the bar and then went out in the sun, or maybe you smiled at idiots on a rooftop bar everyday at Noon - I don't know your life, this is your issue. Point being, you have a wrinkle, you add a serum. Now, would you go to a plastic surgeon due to one wrinkle and get a face lift? Again, maybe you would. Like I said, I don't know your life. But for those of you that wouldn't, this item is for you. All you do is clean your sink, apply some of this on it (ours was a bit smaller than a dime-sized chunk) and then let it dry overnight. Yeah, it doesn't match 100% all the time (unless your sink is like ours and matches the product) and you can sometimes see the indention when looking at it from the right side, but unless you have a hole in your sink, you don't need to replace it. Just use this stuff. And if you're so concerned about a small little line that you want to replace it, then replace your face too... or don't. I don't care. This stuff is awesome and since we're not ready to remodel our kitchen, it's saved us from buying a new sink that we will inevitably replace when we figure out what we want to do to our kitchen. Take aways: 1. Good stuff 2. Maybe complain that your sink is the wrong color instead of the product. 3. Perricone and Laszlo for life. 4. This stuff isn't edible and it's definitely not creamer for your coffee.

Very Pleased!!!
This product is easy to use and dries overnight. I have put on 2 coats and might apply a third. This product is WHITE,WHITE,WHITE so it stands out from the off white color of my tub. But it is still a great improvement over the black chips that were there before. Of course I have no way to know how long it will last but at this price that is not a big issue. One of the biggest pluses is that it comes already to go, no need for mixing. I still have plenty left as opposed to those 'one and done' products. In the instructions it advises to have acetone (nail polish remover) handy. It is a good idea, particularly if you get it on your skin. Ladies; You probably have some already with your nail polish so husbands ask your wife. Otherwise go to any of the major drug store and buy some, it is also inexpensive. 2/15/16 Update: This product is great!!! It still is holding up and the left over in the bottle is still fine. I am also using it to whiten some of the tough to keep clean places in the tub and grouting. 2nd update 1.31.17 Still holding up great, there is still plenty of product available for use in the bottle; and I use it on anything that is true white and chipped (for example: my white dresser and even on some spots on the grout in the shower.) I have discovered it comes in other colors beside super white,, so you may want to check them out.

Very useful product
This is a wonderful product. I had a scratch on my tub and searched Amazon for a repair kit that was feasible and long-lasting. I read all of the reviews before ordering and saw only one minor complaint about the kit...the contained brush was splayed and unusable. I immediately bought a set of artist brushes to have on hand when the kit arrived. My contained brush was splayed as well. It appears that the brush is simply too long for the bottle resulting in a splaying of the brushes as they hit the bottom of the container. If Sheffield would correct this error, they would have a PERFECT porcelain repair kit equal to none other.

Okay product but didn’t cost a ton and does do the job.
Product arrived early. The brush is a pain to use. It smells terrible but I expected that. It’s definitely bright white and didn’t color match my sink completely. It was difficult to apply as brush is terrible. Open a window because it stinks! It did do the job but where water hits a lot it has started wearing off some already. The areas that water doesn’t hit all the time is holding up. Yes I followed instructions and removed rust etc. Value for the $. It wasn’t expensive and does the job.
