The square shank is either poorly machined or not sized properly.
The square shank is either poorly machined or not sized properly. It often slips out of the jaws of my brace because the jaws aren't getting a "good bite" on the square shank. I have no problems with the square shanks on any other bits I use from vintage to the Lee valley 1/4" adapter. I only have problems with the square shank on this one. This is unfortunate and really needs some quality control.
