FAT FREE * SUGAR FREE * SODIUM FREE and good!!!!
Growing up, we ate several kinds of cereal and most of them were healthy stuff such as puffed wheat. We always jazzed it up with fresh fruit and honey or yogurt, lowfat milk etc. I'm a senior citizen now fyi... so being older and needing to be conscious of my fat, sodium and sugar intake has brought me back to finding these old school cereals. Bye bye Cap'n Crunch. Hello puffed wheat, puffed rice and shredded wheat etc. When I was in College I sometimes bought puffed wheat because it was cheap ( used to be about .89 cents for a big bag ) and over the years I've bought it just because I like it. It's so light and clean. So, if anyone would have told me I would be spending nearly $7 for a 6 ounce bag ( ! ) yikes... I never would have believed it. But that's just what I have done now. And it seems That I probably will be doing it again very soon. Because apparently not too many companies are making puffed wheat anymore. I didn't even see it at my local grocery store. Arrowhead is Fortunately making it and they've done a fine job of it, too. Thankfully I am able to buy this on Amazon. Keep in mind 6 ounces isn't very big bag but it is several bowls of cereal. This stuff is very lightweight. There's probably about 10 cups of cereal in this bag. I'll eat it for sure... because there's NO FAT, NO SODIUM & NO SUGAR AT ALL!!! And it tastes good. There's not too many things to eat that can honestly say all that. I fill my cereal bowl with unsweetened almond milk and this puffed wheat, add in some stevia and sliced strawberries. Yummm!! The freeze-dried strawberries really work well with this, too btw. I wish it was cheaper but at least it's healthy. I received this product fast ( next day ) and fresh - date code has six months yet to go. There was no damage to the package it arrived in. I am happy aside from the price, and I am planning to purchase it again. I do recommend it.

WAY too expensive
It was a gift for my elderly mother, as it’s the only cereal she likes. For the small amount you get, the price was way too much. If it wasn’t a gift I wouldn’t have gotten it. She enjoyed the cereal, but the cost… sheesh!

taste was fine but you need to learn how to ship soft package cereal
package small for sky high price, quality was so so, the real joke was they shipped a soft package cereal in a soft sided mailer thus we paid 8 plus dollars for dust! not impressed, soft food packages need to be boxed.

Very substandard
As a Canadian that buys puffed wheat in Canada p, this was very very disappointing! Made the very traditional “puffed wheat cake” with it and it was so tough it was not edible!! Return date has passed so in the garbage it goes!!

Healthy and great taste
This cereal never disappoints. It is pretty healthy in terms of no sugar and hardly any calories.

Really? This is puffed wheat?
When Quaker decided to stop making Puffed Wheat, a few folks tried to step in to grab the market. Arrowhead's attempt falls way short. I should have paid attention to the other reviews that said the product is way too small. Indeed, it is more like crushed wheat, rather than puffed wheat. There is no "puffiness" to it, and the flavor is more like ground wheat, barely acceptable. C'mon, somebody. There's a whole market out there waiting for you.

I could have bought a steak dinner for the price of a bag of this. I can eat 1/2 the bag in 1 sitting I feel ripped off!
