Quality, durability and price in one great cup!
During a period of about 3 years I've purchased four different types of these double walled glass mugs for coffee. Living alone I make one cup of coffee at a time and prefer to prepare a large one of 10-12 ounces and want it to remain hot as long as possible. That is my number one priority. Secondly is durability. This is by far the best of these I've owned. It is heavier glass and has a wooden top with a synthetic seal around the edge instead of single walled glass. It doesn't rattle and sweat and release heat the way the others I've purchased have. Also it is very sturdy. The others have been much more fragile. The best of the lot has shattered twice. Once when the handle caused a crack which fractured the whole cup and the other when my dog bump it off on the carpet from the arm of my chair. Another one had a shattered lid when it arrived despite careful packaging. In short this one has all features I want at a cheaper price than the previously best of the lot. It seems to be thicker with a larger dead space between the walls because it retains heat longer as well!! However this means it isn't really a 16 ounce cup. It isn't even a 12 ounce in practice. 10 is about the safest amount if the lid is to be used.

Very satisfying purchase.
I haven't used this glass yet, but I wanted to say a few things. The packaging was great, very protective, and the bottom whole looks very well sealed. No logos at all, no Starbucks or anything. Looks like a fine piece of art. No cracks, or noticeable defects, in fact, my only issue was it was dirty, but that's not really something to complain about. You should always wash stuff like this first anyway before you use it. One thing I didn't expect, is the lid is hollow. It's a shaped thin piece of glass. Nice, just not what I expected. Assumed it would be thick, and heavier. On the plus side, it's pleasantly designed well for cleaning. The lid has enough space inside to get a sponge fully inside, and scrub it out. No crevice is hard to reach. So, to summarize; Good condition Good packaging No logo Easy to clean Well sealed hole I'll update if I come across anything that needs to be added. For now, I just want to say that considering it is glass, and a complicated design, sometimes there's accidents, sometimes there's defects, sometimes a products arrives in pour quality. Don't hold that against the company unless they are unwilling to replace it. Give them a chance to give you a quality product, cause something like this is worth having, but when dealing with glass, there's just no guarantee. I'm writing this to say you can get what you pay for. A very nice mug to have coffee, or tea, or hot chocolate, or whatever drink you may enjoy. Just don't forget it's glass, and be mindful, and careful with it.

INSIDE LAYER CRACKED AGAIN ON REPLACEMENT
Ordered this mug a month ago and got a replacement. The replacement was defective also. There is a hairline crack in the inside layer on the rim. Water leaks in and the glass fogs up and doesn't dry. It's the same glass mug I bought from Starbucks which lasted years. The current ones must be from a bad batch. Not replacing for a second time. Too bad because it's a great cup.

Love My Cup
I absolutely adore this cup. I can't say enough good things about it. Ever since I got it, I've stopped using the ceramic cups and mugs in my house when I'm in the mood for tea. I also like that it's 16 oz, as I'm not one of those ladies that is into using dainty little tea cups. This is also a convenient feature when I want to drink my beloved tea at work because I don't want to stop if I'm in the middle of something to get up and get a refill, which is what I know I'd end up doing if I was using the average 6-8 oz teacup. The double wall feature is great for making it easy to hold without having to worry about burning my hands when steaming hot liquid is poured in. I don't have to wait for it to cool off like other cups or mugs in order to hold it. Considering it is glass, it helps keep drinks warm for a surprising amount of time--especially when paired with the lid. If I pour a cup of tea just before I drive to work (which is a 20-30 minute drive), my drink is still piping hot when arrive. I estimate that it keeps liquid warm for at least 2-3 hours. Lastly, it's just plain beautiful. One of my coworkers already asked me where I got it from the first time I brought it in because she wants one for herself now too. I've only had it for a week, and I already want another one. 😊😄

Plug fell out and water entered the outer area
Edit: After about a year, the plug came out form the bottom, and I cannot seem to get the water out from the inside. Was: Stunning to behold, and keeps a cold drink cold longer than it would reasonably take to costume the contents. I'll update this of course if it breaks or loses its seal, but honestly, it seems so solid that I can't imagine how that would happen. Despite it looking rather fragile, it has the feel and weight of a well-made item, and it's really just beautiful. The lid is a nice touch that keeps minor spills from happening as you're carrying it around. And the bamboo looks so nice that it also makes a great coaster (not that you need one, but what else are you going to do with it when you get to your desk/table?). I use mine for a cold drink (iced tea), and I've just stopped using iced cubes, because the temperature seems to stay lower for much longer. I'd say its equivalent to an insulated thermos mug. I don't have a way to measure this, but I am happy to no longer need to make tea cubes or have diluted tea from plain ice cubes. I purchased the version without the handle, and I almost wish I had opted for that handle, because the glass is quite large in diameter. That makes it a two-handed grab, or I have to grab it closer to the base to get a comfortable grip on it. I knocked off a star because mine has a very notable imperfection on the base. At first, I was scared it was a drop of water or condensation. It's not bad enough to make me exchange the item, but it definitely detracts from an otherwise beautiful glass.
