Roomganize Large Over the Door Shoe Organizer for Mens Sneakers (Bison brown)

I almost gave up looking for a over-the-door shoe holder because every one of them was too small for men's shoes. The vendor would describe it as "large" but the reviews I read indicated that they were good for only women's and children's shoes. Somehow, this Roomganize shoe holder popped up near the bottom of the page where it showed "similar" items. Thanks goodness! This is the ONLY shoe holder that specifically addresses men's shoes. As you can see in the picture, the upper two rows have men's activity shoes (size 10.5-11) and they all fit snugly without tipping forward. Definitely no problem with women's shoes (7-7.5). The material feels very sturdy and better than plastic. The mesh pockets are better than clear plastic as they allow good ventilation. I really like the bison brown color. I did notice the door not closing as easily after I hung this over it. But I plan to hang this on the wall of my garage and that will solve that problem as well as the shoe holder bouncing a bit at the bottom whenever you open the door. I do agree with another reviewer that it would be wonderful if the vendor can figure out a way to have a double sided sticker or something to keep the bottom of the holder in place. But that's a minor issue. I am so glad someone finally thought of making truly "large" over-the-door shoe holder. This holder is more expensive than many others but you get you pay for and most importantly, it's functional. (P.S. if the men's shoe size is larger than 11, there might be too much overlap between the rows, making it slightly difficult to insert the shoe back in without moving the other shoe in the lower row out of the way. One solution would be to skip every other row and just have his and hers shoe holder. Ankle boots, work boots, and any shoes that go beyond the ankles will not fit in this shoe holder).

OMG!! I am SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE!!!!! Very pleased with this Seller and would most definitely purchase again. This shoe organizer is awesome and it fit pretty well on the door. We put it in the hallway so we can grab shoes as we leave the bedroom. All parts of it were in the package (which was very securely packaged!), and it was easy to hang it up; well, sort of since I'm very short. Had to get a step stool. :o) The organizer fit perfectly over the door. Also, I ordered two day delivery and it got here the very next day! This Seller is just amazing and I can't say enough good things about them. My son wears size 15 shoes and they fit comfortably! Kudos to the reviewer who mentioned putting them at the top of the shoe organizer. That does help to have the heavier shoes at the top. And I am so thankful to get my son's big shoes out of the floor where I kept tripping on them. Also, as you'll see by the picture, small things like slippers, flip flops, etc., fit both shoes in a single pocket, which leaves extra room. Man, I am SO GLAD that I started poking around Amazon instead of buying NYMag's recommended "24-Pocket Mesh Over the Door Shoe Bag" ($20 from the Container Store). I realized that the other product's pockets seemed really small ... like, you could only fit one women's shoe per pocket, not a pair! Since my husband wears U.S. 11.5W, his shoes are quite bulky, and that just would not have been an efficient solution. Anyway, that is why I was extremely happy to come across this well-reviewed product- kind of like the model in the photo! I've found that the organizer pockets can each hold: 2 pairs of flip-flops ... or 1 pair of women's flats ... men's/women's sneakers, you will have to split up the pair so each pocket only holds one shoe. Still, I was able to move 20 pairs of footwear from our overcrowded shoe shelf to the door rack, and I am very happy about that. Not that I'm intending to go out and buy more shoes, but our shoe shelf had been seriously overstuffed, and every time I plucked out a pair to wear, two others would drop to the ground. No longer! My one wish is that the organizer came in white instead of dark brown- our entry way is dark and windowless, and I'm wondering if a big dark square of fabric darkens it a little bit more. Whatever, it's mostly covered with shoes anyway, and brown probably covers scuffs or dirt marks. I like this organizer a heck of a lot, and am considering buying a couple more to use to organize various closets. - AM SIL Edited to add photo.

This is the best shoe organizer I've owned and I have LOTS of shoes! My husband I and use this in our laundry room in the basement, to keep handy those pairs of shoes we use most frequently as our house is very tall and it's a drag to get down to the basement to head out the car in the garage, only to realize the shoes you want to wear are 3 floors up! So we have 3 bags lined up that hold everything from 4-inch heels to bulky running shoes. The pockets are deep and wide (which means I can turn the 4-inch heels to the side and fit them in the pockets) and the entire construction is VERY sturdy with strong seams that don't tear away from the base like the cheap plastic ones. If you have flats to hold, each pocket can hold a pair, which extends the capacity of the organizer. My mom saw and loved it, so I bought one for her as well. Also the option to either hang the organizer over the door with the hooks provided OR nail it flush to a wall makes it a very versatile product. I would DEFINITELY buy this product again!!

Love it!! Replaced one with fewer, smaller pockets. Pockets are big enough to hold my hubby’s size 11 shoes. Seems to be well constructed, durable and has roomy pockets with netting on the front. As a plus, the dark color will not show any dirt. Might buy another. As others have commented, it does have a strong odor when you first open the package and why I gave it four stars instead of five. However, after airing it out and spraying with Febreeze, the odor dissipated considerably.
