Very flavorful
Excellent flavor, so much better than mint ‘jelly’ Excellent with rack of Lamb

Proper Minty Flavor - Correct Thickness - Best Value Out There (even at this price point)
Mint jelly has become very difficult to find and when you, you pay for it dearly. And this is true here but at least you can still get it when desired. This particular jelly was bought for a lamb dinner and everyone liked it. It has good minty taste but not overpowering and a proper consistency with the thickness to hold onto the meat. Of course, the jar was well sealed upon arrival and I expect its longevity in the fridge will be equal to any other. I wouldn't call this a great value for the money but at least we can still find it and Amazon has it here in a few days. Highly Recommended

From someone who had been using Cross and Blackwells mint sauce for more years than I can count and being disappointed that it's sale was disountinued, Ballymaloe Mint Sauce fills the void. My new favorite. Recommended product

Amazon sold me products with pending expiration dates. Buyer Beware!
This is an excellent mint sauce - much more authentic than the green jelly version in most supermarkets. The jar in my fridge now was purchased in May of 2023 from a fine foods grocery store in Houston and it expires in March of 2024. The 2 jars I just purchased in August of 2023 from Amazon are marked to expire in 4 months! - December 2023. Shame on you for pulling a fast one. At the very least you should have marked them down and mentioned the expiration date! In short, this is a great sauce, but buyer beware when purchasing from this source.

More like a sweet mint Jelly than sauce
I was looking for a reasonable replacement for Crosse & Blackwell mint sauce (which seems to be impossible to get for under $20 a bottle lately) and specifically tried this one because I didn't see any mention in the description of it being jelly. It is jelly, and very sweet for a mint sauce of even a mint jelly. If you want jelly instead of sauce and you prefer sweeter mint jelly then I guess that this is for you. But if you're really just looking for minty vinegar sauce then pass on this.

It’s got great mint flavor. I’m still trying to get a mint sauce like cross and Blackwell. I still can’t believe there isn’t a competitor to that great mint sauce.

My whole family loves this. Great condiment to use with lamb. Like the packaging in glass container.
